Found in the village of Litton, amongst stunning Yorkshire Dales' scenery, this cottage's location is home to spectacular countryside views and typical British towns and villages. As you would expect, this place is a haven when it comes to walking and cycling trails. A huge variety of other outdoor pursuits are also on offer - you won't be disappointed. The charming village of Arncliffe is just 2.5 miles away, with Grassington 10 miles away, and Kettlewell just 8 miles from the cottage. Venture further afield to arrive in Settle, just 12 miles away, where you will find a number of lovely cafes, restaurants, independent shops and welcoming country pubs. From here, you can hop on the Settle to Carlisle railway and enjoy an undeniably scenic journey through the Dales.

Benefiting from a unique combination of chocolate-box exterior, charming rooms and a picturesque location, this immaculately presented cottage offers a stay to remember. A peaceful hideaway for groups, this cottage has rustic décor throughout, artfully styled to provide that rural atmosphere and with touches of luxury. Upon entry you will find the farmhouse kitchen/dining area with all the amenities you could possibly need to enjoy some home cooking during your stay.  Upstairs you'll discover an attractive lounge boasting an impressive stone fireplace and roaring wood burner so you can gather around with the family and cosy up during colder months.  Following a day in the great outdoors, take your pick from two lovingly furnished bedrooms each having their own bathrooms .The master bedroom, located on the ground floor, is home to a king-size bed while the second room is located on the first floor and made up of twin beds. The outside setting is hard to beat with its lovely lawned gardens and terraced areas taking full advantage of the unspoiled views that surround you. Fabulous cottage, very comfortable in a very quiet location . The cottage is furnished to a high standard,, the master bedroom is beautiful. The sitting room is upstairs and is very cosy and has wonderful views. You can do many walks straight out from the cottage. We had an amazing week and will definitely return. Setting was peaceful and relaxing. Just perfect the cottage had everything you needed. Clean and warm and thoughtfully decorated. Beautiful garden area and lots of local walks straight from the door and a great local pub. A great place to stay

A faultless converted barn with high quality facilities and tasteful decor. The owners were extremely helpful and catered for all our needs. Our second visit and hopefully we will return again.

A lovely cottage with a pretty riverside location. However, as the location is so well isolated, Summer/Autumn bookings may be a better option than Spring. The weather we experienced denied us the opportunity to do justice to the surrounding vista.

Beautiful, peaceful location with stunning scenery. A couple of good walks from doorstep. Tastefully furnished, comfortable bed and decent shower. One of the best welcome baskets weve had. If I was being really picky it could do with a review of the kitchen equipment - only one (chipped) champagne flute and frying pan seen better days. Elbeck Barn is the middle property in a row of three. It is located in a picture perfect setting with a pretty garden right by the river with wonderful views. The house is beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The upstairs vaulted sitting room was exceptionally atmospheric at this time of year with a roaring log fire - the window seat affordeRead mored yet more amazing views. We defy anyone to find anything negative about this cottage. It's location, for peace and tranquillity, could not be bettered. It has been fitted out to a very high standard, with everything that might be required. One of the best cottages we have ever stayed in

This is exceptional accommodation in an outstanding location. In many respects, the cottage exceeded expectations arising from the description online. Examples would include the kitchen and upstairs living room, which are spacious, light, and beautiful. As a location, the cottage's position in Litton is lovely and highly convenient for walking. WitRead morehin the National Park, the cottage offers the best location I have experienced for accessing The Dales. Elbeck Barn is quite simply a wonder. Hide
