Set in the North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and situated at the top of the stunning Sterridge Valley, this is part of a complex of nine attractive cottages. This cosy cottage sits on edge of Exmoor National Park with amazing views of the 18 acres of open countryside. The property benefits from being in an elevated position where you are surrounded by acres of countryside and woodlands which offer a relaxing and tranquil holiday retreat. It's the perfect place to relax and unwind with many beautiful country and coastal walks to be enjoyed from the doorstep. Otherwise, a short drive takes you to the outstanding Exmoor National Park. The lovely village of Combe Martin is a few minutes’ drive away, and hosts a highly recommended 17th-century inn. Also nearby is the delightful picturesque village of Berrynarbor. The golden sandy beaches of Croyde, Saunton, Putsborough and Woolacombe are all just a 20-minute drive away, offering some of the best sand and surf in the South West.

Steps leading into this cosy cottage which is all one level, you will find yourself in the bright and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The welcoming lounge offers a TV and DVD. The dining area is ideally situated, and the attractive kitchen is equipped with everything you might need including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment and washing machine. Exploring further, you find a step leading into the comfy double bedroom, and a bathroom complete with shower over the bath and WC.

Heading outside, is a gravelled area with your own picnic table and charcoal BBQ or you can unwind at the end of the day on the spacious lawn area with outdoor seating which is shared with the other properties in the complex. Or you could head for the shared indoor heated swimming pool with sunken hot tub. Children can also play in an enclosed outdoor play area with swing basket, trampoline, baby swing and picnic benches, and there’s an indoor games barn with table tennis, pool table and table football. There are also 18 acres of gardens and paddocks to explore, making the site a real country retreat ideal for families, friends or couples alike. Guests are welcome to meet the resident donkeys and pony. Sheep and cows also graze the surrounding meadows of the farm.
