A beach lovers' paradise in time-honoured style and in a superb seaside location close to all the main attractions. Perfect for a family or couples with a dog looking to explore Northumberland.

Located just a short walk across the dunes to the fabulous sandy bay in Beadnell with the views of Dunstanburgh Castle in the distance tempting you to keep walking. You can join in or watch the many water sports practised on this much-loved beach or, simply relax with a picnic in the dunes. Take the coastal path on to Seahouses and Bamburgh, visit the castle, shops and restaurants there or head south on your walk to Embleton, Low Newton and Craster. Discover nearby Holy Island across the causeway and venture further to the historic market town of Berwick-upon-Tweed. Back in Beadnell, there is a village store, dog-friendly pub restaurants and a bistro to choose from for meals out.

Enter through the rear door located at the end of the long garden and patio area. The kitchen/diner overlooks the garden and is equipped with everything you will need for preparing your meals with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer and there is a dining table and chairs. The spacious family bathroom leads from this room and has a shower over bath and WC. Moving through from the kitchen to the cosy lounge, you will find two comfortable sofas where you can relax in front of the wood burner and for nights in you can find something you like on the Smart TV. The front door leads out to the garden and another small patio. Heading up the stairs, you will find a small shower room with stunning views out to sea, a shower and WC. The pretty cosy master bedroom has a double bed with lovely sea views whilst the spacious second bedroom is a twin.

Outside the kitchen, there is a stone patio area with garden furniture for al fresco dining and a lawned garden leads up to the garden gate and parking beyond. At the front, there is a patio area with a picnic table and bench seating, the rest of the garden is lawned and open plan with the neighbouring properties there is off-road parking for two cars, on the grassed area at the rear of the property.

Lovely cottage in a great location and unusually well equipped. Spotlessly clean on arrival, modern appliances, Sky Sports on the TV, comfortable furniture and beds. Tall people will need to stoop in places. Best days out were walking along the coast from the cottage to The Ship Inn at Lower Newton and back, and then even better - drive to Craster Read moreand walk from there to the same pub from the other direction. Really well located. The cottage was lovely and cosy and well stocked with everything we needed. It was very clean and the owners / house keeping were really helpful when we contacted them. We would recommend this accommodation though anyone over 6ft may struggle with the low ceiling in the upstairs bathroom. Hi, the cottage was lovely, well equipped and clean. We would certainly visit again if it was not in Northumberland.. unfortunately... after being regular visitors to the lakes and walkers of mountains etc.. we found Beadnell, Sea Houses etc to be really lacking in interest.. we did the beach four or five times.. we did the castles.. we did Sea HouRead moreses etc.. but it was bland and not enough for us. Great location, fabulous beaches with walks from the doorstep. Cottage very nice but note the garden is not enclosed ( separated from next door by a rope ) therefore not ideal for dogs.

The cottage is lovely and in a perfect location. Its clean and pretty comfortable. With just a few little additions Id have given 5 stars for most things. Cushions for the sofas and seat pads for the outdoor seating would have been great. As we were there over the two hottest days of the year maybe a sun brolly would have been a good addition too. Fishers cottage is in the perfect location for access to the beautiful Beadnell bay. Its about 15 minutes walk from the village centre and it had everything we needed for a perfect stay. We didnt realise when booking that there is only a rope dividing the garden from the cottage next door but if you look closely this is visible in the photos. We alRead moreways book an enclosed garden and as have we have a young dog, it meant we couldnt fully relax in the garden in case he strayed across. Hide

A lovely little cottage with great potential but really needs updating. We had a few issues that we worked around but the biggest problem was that the enclosed garden is shared with a neighbouring private property and is only divided by a rope so you cannot really allow your dog to relax in the garden as it is supposed to stay on your half - not suRead morere how you tell a dog that it can't go beyond the rope. This is a really cosy and comfortable cottage in a lovely location for exploring the coast of Northumberland. The beds are extremely comfortable as are the settees. The linens all top quality. We recommend this village as it has lots of facilities ie local shop and very good hotel, pub and coffee bistro. Excellent walking places for dog owners too.

A nice little quaint stone cottage. The property is warm and the kitchen appliances are good. The fireplace is a bit odd and hard to control but looks nice. The outside shower is very handy for hte boots and the dog after hours of walking. The cottage is in a prime position in Beadnell within sight and sound of the sea. You can walk on to the wonderful beach in minutes and its a quick walk to the village shop. All the historical monuments and attractions are within easy reach by car and there are miles of good walks around the village itself. This cottage is lovely, cosy, quirky in some ways and well thought out. It was very clean and well equipped with a decent sized fridge which was great, often cottages have tiny fridges which is annoying. Fisher's Cottage has all the character of an older dwelling (being built in the eighteenth century) but is also comfortable and warm. It is situated very conveniently for the lovely beach and only a short walk from the pubs, cafe and shop in the quiet village. It is not far from other places of interest up and down the coast. Lovely old cottage, 5 minutes walk from fantastic beach. Very comfortable and clean with everything you need and spacious outside areas. Seahouses village 1 mile away has good shops, butcher, fishmonger , deli and the best fish and chips we've had for years. Also boat trips to Farne Islands. We had a wonderful week's stay.

But best of all was the location - so close to Beadnell Harbour, the Craster Arms for good food and local shop. It is only a few miles to Bamburgh and Holy Island. This cottage is in a very good location for the beach and village. One bedroom and the upstairs bathroom have limited headroom for tall people. The cottage has good fitting and furniture. Mobile phone connection is limited and using WiFi calling was required.
