This property is situated in the village of Ringstead which is ideally located for exploring both the north and west Norfolk coasts. The town of Hunstanton is just four miles away and boasts an excellent family-friendly beach, as well as an interesting Sea Life centre and a good choice of shops, cafes, pubs, and restaurants. For those who fancy a day away from the beach, the stunning royal estate at Sandringham lies just nine miles south of the property and offers a fascinating glimpse at life at the Queen’s much-loved home, which is open to visitors during the summer months. Continuing a little further south, the harbour town of King’s Lynn sits on the River Ouse and is a vibrant town with an interesting history which is reflected in the town’s interesting range of historic buildings.
On arrival at this pretty cottage, guests open the front door directly into the spacious lounge/diner, an attractive room with a quarry tiled floor and windows on three sides. The lounge area is situated towards the front of the room, with its inviting sofa and comfortable armchairs, TV/DVD, and music system. The dining area, meanwhile is located towards the rear of the room and offers a dining table seating six sitting in a sunny spot with French windows opening onto the cottage’s garden, allowing guests to extend this space outside on warm days. The kitchen, meanwhile, has been finished with a high-standard and offers everything that the keen cook will need, including an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, and washing machine. The first of the property’s two bedrooms are also located on the ground floor, a twin room with dual-aspect windows and a pine wardrobe. Stairs from the dining area lead up to the first-floor landing, off from which a door leads through to the master bedroom. This well-proportioned room has a double bed and plenty of space to store clothes in the wardrobe and chest of drawers. Across the landing from the master bedroom, the bathroom offers not only a bath with a shower over the bath but also a separate shower cubicle and WC.
French windows from the dining area open onto the property’s garden which is mainly set to lawn and offers guests a lovely outdoor space in which to relax and spend time on fine days. There are a table and chairs provided, inviting guests to enjoy alfresco drinks or meals. There is off-road parking available for three cars.
