Romantic retreat set in a beautiful location on the wonderful south coast of Cornwall. It’s the perfect getaway for two, with a bubbling hot tub.

Situated less than a mile from the pretty Cornish village of Lanreath, this wonderful detached cottage is within 1 mile of the village shop, playground and playing fields. The village is surrounded by a selection of footpaths and trails, while the south coast has secluded coves and quaint fishing villages all within 10 miles. Jump in the car for 6 miles and you'll reach the fishing resort of Looe, the perfect place to embark on a fishing trip or visit independent shops and cafes. Catch the ferry to Fowey for some sailing and water sports, Porfell Wildlife Park and Sanctuary, or the Adrenalin Quarry, all within 15 miles.

Follow the meandering path to this fabulous lodge, ideally located with beautiful countryside views and on the owner’s land. Enter through the large glass patio doors and into an inviting, spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. With its large, comfortable sofas and exposed beams, this really is a wonderful place to snuggle up together beside the wood burner and watch all your favourite programmes on the Smart TV. The kitchen is impressive with its contemporary decor and open shelving, and boasts an electric oven and hob and fridge with freezer compartment, along with everything you could possibly need to either pack up a good lunch for a day out exploring or cook a delicious evening meal. Sit down at the dining table and chairs for two and relax. A handy utility area is hidden alongside the kitchen and contains a microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The main bedroom is off the lounge and features a king-size bed, plenty of storage and a Smart TV, as well as plenty of natural light through the stunning glass patio doors that lead out onto the terrace. This really is the perfect spot to have breakfast in bed or enjoy a lazy morning. The en-suite features a double shower and WC.

Outside is a wonderful terrace with a private hot tub to bubble away in, as well as a splendid lawn area and pond to enjoy, which does link to the owner’s garden but is still very private. There is private off-road parking for one car.

We spent a weeks honeymooning in the garden house. A delightful hidden gem, so cosy & comfortable. Location perfect for the SW Coastal Path and visits to Looe, Polperro & Fowey. Our lovely hosts provided a welcome Prosecco cream tea on arrival which was thoroughly appreciated. We would highly recommend if you want peace and quiet.

What a lovely place to spend a holiday. We had everything we needed and the standard of appliances, the bed, fixtures and fittings was perfect. The house is located in a lovely private garden, well away from any noise. It was within easy travelling distance of Fowey, Looe, great coastal walks etc. We would highly recommend this place.

Wonderful place to stay. Not too far from main road, but still very quiet with lots of rabbits and squirrels etc. Great location to visit other places in north and mid-Cornwall. Has a parking place, Only just over 3 miles from Looe. Close to local pub [jubilee Inn] for meals and Spar for food in village of Pellet [about 1 mile away.

Guy and Sue are wonderful hosts and the Garden Cottage is perfectly peaceful, modern and comfortable and spotlessly clean. There is a good internet connection together with Smart TVs - so if an evening in with a movie is all you need then its all there. Wonderfully comfortable bed with Egyptian cotton bed linen and towels - beyond reproach. What an absolute beautiful property, just what I needed to get away from work.Proscecco chilling in fridge was amazing.spotlessly clean..amazing views whilst watching the sun go down in the hot tub. Guy n Sue where great hosts.will defo be back. Highly recommended.

We had such a brilliant time staying at The Garden House. The hosts were fantastic, and sorted any issues rapidly (which was only that we ran out of wood for the fire). We would 10/10 recommend to anyone wanting a quiet, homely get away. The hot tub and indoor fire make for the cosiest of nights in.

The "Shepherds Hut" was a fantastic location for a break in Cornwall, the property is furnished to a very high standard with all modcons that you could possibly need, smart TVs, hottub, washing machine etc The proprty is extremely private and very peaceful in the evenings. The property owners are lovely people who are both extremely helpful yet at Read morethe same time non-invasive to let you enjoy your break without interuption. The property was ideally situated in peaceful surroundings & felt very secluded, despite being on the owners' land.
