Lovely cottage very clean, reasonably equipped, only missing an oven really so not essential, everything else was there that we required and more, added bonus to get free entry to the museum and the pub up the road was great as well as the cafe next door.

This is an ideal place to stay if you want to visit Beamish Open Air Museum as it is very close and you can get there in minutes. It is also literally right next to Causey Arch that provides a quick way to enjoy the countryside.
