This property enjoys a beautiful location on a working farm, in rural Devon. The market town of Holsworthy is just five miles away, with its traditional weekly cattle market, as well as an interesting pannier market, offering fresh local produce, and a number of pubs, cafes, and small shops. Dartmoor and Exmoor are both within easy reach, offering ample opportunity for scenic walks, and more challenging hikes. The Cornish coast is just twelve miles away, and families will love making the most of all that Bude has to offer, including its choice of sandy beaches, a tidal pool, mini-golf, and a range of eateries. Further afield, the historic town of Tintagel, famed for its legendary associations with King Arthur, is within a thirty minute drive of the property, and is a great place for a day trip.

This light and spacious barn conversion is one of three properties on this working farm, and offers comfortable accommodation for four guests. The main living area is an attractive split level, lounge/kitchen/diner, with its exposed beams, and woodburner effect electric fire. On the lower area of this space, the lounge/diner offers comfortable seating, as well as a dining table for family meals, and a TV/DVD, and hi-fi for guests to enjoy. The patio is also accessed from this room, making it easy to enjoy al fresco drinks and meals during the summer months. A short set of steps brings guests to the raised kitchen area, which has been tastefully finished in a farmhouse style and is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. The two bedrooms are both tastefully decorated in a simple, understated style. The first of these is a king-size room which benefits from its own TV, whilst the second bedroom is an airy twin room. The bathroom has a shower over bath and WC.

The property’s private patio, with its BBQ and outdoor furniture, is conveniently accessed via doors from the living room. Beyond this area is a shared lawn, which is perfect for enjoying games or just relaxing and enjoying the quiet surroundings. There is also a separate games barn, which is shared with the other properties, offering a pool table, darts board, and a choice of toys.

We have had a comfortable relaxing week and would recommend staying at Greylands Farm. It is out in the sticks and you cannot walk to a shop or pub but we had everything we needed and thoroughly enjoyed our week. We would go back again.

Lovely cottage with nice open plan split level kitchen/diner and living room. Bedrooms nice size, Outside space was great too. However, the cleanliness of the cottage was diabolical. Nearly every window and beam had a cobweb, the grout in the shower was dirty, the bbq grill was so rusty and dirty we couldnt bbq, and as for the oven, It was filthy wRead moreith dried on grease and food and the extraction unit dropped fat on the hob. If youre going to charge nearly 600 it should at least be clean. Hide

A really lovely barn conversion, exposed beams and a lofty feel. Plenty of room in the living and dining area and, as the bedroom were the other end of the property, you could escape/settle for the evening without waking up the children. Fantastic little outside space to sit and read or have a kick about after breakfast/before tea. The games room wRead moreas a hit!. Great value for money. The barn is a stones throw from Clovelly, Bideford, Hartland Quay and Bude. We hope to return next year! Hide

Very spacious cottage in one of the loveliest parts of the world. Games rooms was brilliant. The owner allowed us to stay Sunday to Sunday which was appreciated. Large garden which had a visiting fox, please note it is shared and caused issues with our dog. Kitchen is new, lounge comfortable, bathroom needs some attention cracked tiles and mold. BeRead moreds very comfortable. Sadly, the whole cottage esp the windows need a very good clean. Couldnt find a map to guide us around the 140 acres!! Hide

We had a lovely week in Foxglove Barn despite the rain. The cottage is very comfortable and clean. I would suggest if you are going to cook to think about oven wear as we had to rethink our meals due to lack of suitable dishes. The barn is in a great, peaceful location ideally set to explore the North coast of Cornwall. We would recommend this barn.

Perfect hideaway and all you could hear were the birds and the odd cow in the next field. Total bliss. Well equipped kitchen.

This was a beautiful accommodation, probably the nicest I have stayed at and the people who run it are friendly and helpful. The location is peaceful and only a short car journey to the coast.

A lovely barn conversion that is very spacious. It was a really lovely home from home. Very nicely furnished and looked after with lovely views and a fun games room too which was great. You have to have a car to travel out to places. Really friendly and welcoming hosts and definitely one we could revisit if going back to Devon.

Beautiful cottage in the most peaceful and stunning surroundings. The beds were comfy, all mod cons needed and the pool table was fab for our teenage kids. Wonderful hosts and couldn't have been more helpful. Thank you for a great base to explore Devon and Cornwall.
