A lovely week in gulls cry. The kitchen is well equipped and we really liked the living area upstairs giving great views out to the river estuary, and bedrooms downstairs. Comfortable stay and great fast Wi-Fi. All in all a lovely quirky little house would recommend.

Great time in Appledore, the accommodation was spot on for a family of 4 plus a border collie and very clean. Excellent view from the living room. Sometimes had to park on the street further away but the car park eased late evening and we managed to get a space every night.

A great cottage with a lot of history & great books to read. A well equipped place ( no hair dryers or fans) but everything else you could ask for. Car park just a couple of minutes walk away up The Path is 22.50 for 7 days which was reasonable. Pub opposite was quiet and foot traffic didnt impact on the front bedroom. We had a wonderful week on holiday at Gulls Cry cottage and could happily have stayed another week. It is full of character and has such beautiful views from its quirky layout. There are super pubs around with live entertainment and large supermarkets a short drive away. Instow beach was lovely and quiet too. Will definitely visit again

Second time we have stayed, drawn by the views and location. Towels kindly refreshed after one week and issue with waste bin in The Chapel dealt with promptly. One or two items in the kitchen a bit worn out/broken that could do with replacing but nothing significant. Weather kind to us so a really enjoyable two weeks, thank you.
