This cottage is located near the scenic River Yeo, where visitors can enjoy countryside walks. Just three miles away is the harbour town of Bideford with its quaint shops, superstores and pubs. Just a little further away is the large sandy beach at Westward Ho! which is popular amongst families and surfers alike. From Bideford it is possible to take the ferry out to Lundy, a wild and rugged, yet beautiful island in the Bristol Channel, home to puffins and seals, amongst other wildlife.

What a lovely cottage a very homely feel about it, The owners have gone to a lot of trouble to provide a home from home, full of character with nice touches everywhere from the pictures to the soft furnishings. We did not make use of the pump house but in the summer it would be great for relaxing and having a bbq.

The cottage was not clean. It was plagued by flies. The Pump House is not exclusive to the two cottages, sometimes there are people camping on there. The location and the Pump House was what made the holiday worth it. Had the cottage been clean and free of flies, it would have been fantastic.
