Set on a quiet road off Kinghorn's main street, the cottage really has the best of both worlds. The impressive former town hall at the bottom of the road has recently been restored and the pub/restaurant opposite is a great place to enjoy a meal or an evening drink. It's just 500 metres to the seafront with a pretty sandy beach flanked by the lifeboat station to the south and the harbour to the north. Beach-lovers can stroll across the headland, about a mile to Pettycur Bay for an alternative beach with dunes and views across to Edinburgh Castle and Arthur's Seat on a fine day. At low tide you can walk right along the shore to Burntisland Beach too. If the views have whetted the appetite for adventure, or you just fancy a trip to town, it's 500 metres from the house to the station and you can be in Edinburgh in 40 minutes for a spot of sight-seeing and shopping in the beautiful city. Kinghorn Loch is just a mile from the cottage, popular for swimming and water sports, as well as its fishing and walking trails. The surrounding conservation area has many trails for walking, cycling and wildlife spotting that stretch as far as The Binn, a small hill in Burntisland.

A very clean and well maintained old cottage style property in quiet village.
