This charming detached period property is located in a peaceful tranquil setting and benefits from magnificent sea and countryside views, with Holy Island on the horizon, close to all local amenities.

This cottage is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. It's nearby Berwick-upon-Tweed, a medieval town with plenty of things to do, and it's also close to the seaside village of Bamburgh. History lovers will enjoy visiting the castle there, which can be seen from the window, as well as Alnwick Castle, used in the Harry Potter film series. For those who love the outdoors, there's the Northumberland National Park, Glendale and the Cheviot hills which provide excellent walking, hiking and biking. If the view from the cottage isn't enough, you can take a trip to Lindisfarne across the tidal causeway or take a boat trip and try sea fishing or bird watching.

On the ground floor there is a gorgeous open plan living area with a dining table, next to patio doors overlooking the countryside, and a cosy sitting room area with a wood burner. The kitchen has everything needed to enjoy cooking while with friends and family. The cottage has a handy utility room with washing machine and bike store. The wooden beams and doors make this property feel really special. On the ground floor there is a king-size bedroom with en-suite Jack and Jill bathroom with shower over a bath and WC, which can be accessed from the kitchen too. There's also a twin room which can be made into a king-size on request.

Outside there is a large private garden, with beautiful views of the countryside. Perfect for families, with lots of space on the lawn to play, there is also a patio area and a barbecue for outdoor dining when the sun shows its face. Off road parking is available, as is improved accessibility to the property.

Loved every minute of our stay. Great location with good views of Lindisfarne and Bamburgh Castle. For the rainy day a trip to Barter Books in Alnwick otherwise miles of beautiful beaches to walk.

Beautiful, well appointed cottage in an idyllic setting with views across to Holy Island. Perfect for our family of four, with two young, active boys. Nice enclosed garden. This is our 2nd stay in this beautiful cottage and will not be our last. On arrival the 'homemade biscuits', milk in the fridge, cut flowers from the garden, bottle of wine are always a welcome treat after a long journey. Fantastic cottage in a fantastic location. This was our second visit to Kyloe Church Cottage and we couldn't wait. My brother joined us this time and kept waxing lyrical about the 'attention to detail' in the cottage. He fell in love with the surrounding countryside/coastline as much us. Stunning holiday location, views over Holy Island and along coast to Bamburgh Castle. Stunning sunrises. The cottage was very well equipped with everything we needed even down to a shower cap. We felt very comfortable and at home there. The cottage was beautiful. Finished and presented to a very high standard. There was only to two of us but it would be perfect for a family. Well equipped and very comfortable. It was very clean and the linens provided, lovely and fresh. Lots of extra finishing touches which shows that the owners want their guests to have a great experience. Lovely location and perfect for exploring Northumberland coast. Beautiful views especially of Holy Island.. The cottage has been extremely well designed, is well equipped and was spotless. Log fire was a treat although the central heating heats the building. Shower is hot and powerful- well needed after a long days walk in the rain. The view is a real treat - across the fields to the sea and holy island. Fabulous holiday cottage.

The cottage is situated with a fantastic view of the coast between Holy Island and Banburgh castle. The interior is warm and well equipped. Perfect for exploring the area as well as snuggling up In front of the fire. This is our second visit and the Covid requirements thorough but not intrusive.

Absolutely fantastic 5/5, Location perfect for exploring the Northumberland coast or the occasional foray across the boarder. This is a wonderful cottage if you enjoy walking and glorious isolated countryside. We do and consider it a gem. It's very comfortable and well equipped, the hosts are delightful and the location with its view of Holy Island is unbeatable. We have now visited twice and will be back.

The cottage was in a superb location with great views over to Lindisfarne and Bamburgh in the distance. Very peaceful and quiet. We really loved this quirky cottage; the views to Holy Island and Bamburgh are spectacular! The cottage is very well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Although we had very changeable weather we didn't need to light the fire as the heating was efficient and the space always felt cosy. This is a really comfortable, clean, warm well equipped cottage with fabulous views of the sea as well as Holy Island and Bamburgh Castle in the distance. Its well placed for visiting the Northumberland coast as well as the Cheviot Hills and Scottish Borders. Loved it!

What a wonderful location this is! Fantastic view from north of Holy Island to The Farnes, who needs TV with a prospect such as this. Well equipped, warm and easy to use, a homely, comfortable spot.
