Sat right next to a flourishing nature reserve these impressive contemporary homes which are all new in 2016 offer you true tranquillity. Ideally placed for walkers, adventure seekers or those who just want to relax amongst the countryside in all its unspoilt glory.

These new lodges are situated near Carnforth which is ideal for exploring what the Lake District and Lancashire have to offer. They are positioned in a quieter part the holiday resort yet a stone’s throw away you’ll have access to all the great facilities of the top quality resort where you will find stunning lakes and scenery surrounded by excellent walks, nature trails and beautiful scenery. Morecambe Bay is within easy visiting distance. Resting close to Lune Valley, on the edges of Lancashire and the Lake District National Park, the historic villages of Silverdale and Arnside are only a short trip away. The RSPB at Leighton Moss is well worth a tour, Docker Farm Park and Lancaster Museum are just 4 miles away.

Leisure facilities: Access to parks’ health and fitness centre with gymnasium, heated indoor swimming pool. Beauty spa and steam room. Large lake open to sailing boats and small craft and onsite fishing. Outside: patio area with furniture. Amenities: off road parking. Bed linen, electric, central heating and Wi-Fi included. 1 dog welcome. Additional info: Passes for leisure facilities can be purchased directly from main reception office. Some plots on the park are not yet occupied, meaning from time to time there may be new lodges being delivered. Travel cots and high chairs are available to hire, payable locally- £7 per short break/ £14 per week each. Leisure facilities and food and beverage outlets operate restricted opening times over Christmas and New Year, with full closures on Christmas day, boxing day and New Year’s day. Location: beach, shop 5 miles, pub and restaurant within walking distance.

Overall the property was nice , value for money was not there for me as above the beds were extremely uncomfortable and pillows need a bit of filling as were like a sheet , the second room is advertised as two beds this needs to show for children as my guest were 6.2 In size and couldnt fit in the bedroom never mind the beds . Outlook was pretty buRead moret if you went for a walk just saw rubbish , the site doesnt recycle which is disappointing , the pub and restaurant are lovely . Hide

Lovely spacious holiday home, enjoyed staying in the very modern chalet, great nearby facilities such as the swimming pool, gym and Watersedge pub. We had a wonderful time!

The lodge was perfectly located just a short walk away from the main hub of the park, so peaceful. The leisure club and main building were superb, I swam every morning and loved it. I was pleased to see they segregated swimmers from the children and holiday makers, a sensible idea. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Lovely luxury caravans located in fabulous location with on site pub restaurant serving wonderful food & drink, there is also pool & spa treatments.

It was a lovely stay with fantastic facilities. I went with 3 other people and we all enjoyed every moment. There are lots of things to do nearby (kayaking, walk in a nature reserve with a crag, visiting a farm etc) as well as a restaurant and indoor facilities on site (a pool, a gym with classes, massage facilities etc).
