With a five acre coarse fishing lake boasting carp, bream, roach and perch this is perfect for any keen fisherman or nature lover. With public footpaths on the doorstep and quiet roads for cycling, this is the perfect place to get some fresh air in your lungs. The historic town of Lancaster is nearby, and the famous seaside resort of Blackpool is within easy reach. Popular spots such as Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District are easily accessible.

Steeping into the apartment leads you into a spacious lounge/diner with a comfortable sofa that you can fall into after an exhausting days fishing or cycling, pop your feet up and relax in front of the TV. There is a dining table which provides a great space for lazy breakfasts and romantic dinners. The kitchen offers everything you need for a home away from home stay such as electric oven and hob, washing machine and fridge with ice compartment. The bedroom has a king-size zip-and-link bed (which can be made into a twin on request) and also has a walk in wardrobe. There is an wet room with shower and separate WC.

There is a picnic bench located right on the lakeside to relax and enjoy the tranquillity. Your car can be parked just a few yards from the front door of the apartment. Bicycles and fishing tackle can be safely stored in a secure locked area if required.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Great location for fishing enthusiasts as the lake was just outside the cottage door, with private access to those in the 'cottage/apartment rentals'. We had a great few days fishing and enjoying the scenery.
