A tranquil country break, in a beautiful setting, with the elements of a working farm around you. Duloe is the nearest village, where you will find a cosy country inn serving real ales and food. Close by are the villages of Lanreath and Lerryn, with fine river walks to Fowey, while Looe is a thriving fishing port offering two wonderful beaches and a wider choice of amenities a short drive. Attractions within a half-hour drive include the Wild Futures Monkey Sanctuary as well as the National Trust-owned Lanhydrock House. This cottage adjoins the owners’ farmhouse, and yet will still offer you all the privacy and space you need during a break in Cornwall.

On the ground floor of the property guests will find the lounge, open-plan kitchen-diner and utility room. The lounge is light and airy and offers plenty of entertainment in the form of a Smart TV. French doors also lead out from the lounge directly to the surrounding outside space. In the kitchen/diner, guests will find everything they need to make themselves feel at home, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. In addition, the utility room also provides a washing machine as well as a WC. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, both with TVs and DVDs: one super-king-size and one twin with 2'6" beds. The twin beds can be made up into a king-size on request. Both bedrooms have en-suite facilities: the super-king-size has an en-suite shower and WC, while the twin room has an en-suite bath, separate shower and WC.

There is plenty of outdoor space surrounding the property, including a large patio as well as an area of lawn. With garden furniture and a BBQ, the garden is the perfect place to soak up the sun and perhaps dine al fresco. Outdoor games are available to use including Swing Ball and Drafts.

The cottage is really nice and in a good location with great views. The cream tea welcome was a nice touch. The cottage is in easy reach of some great places to visit.

Peaceful location with great views of the surrounding countryside. Property is situated a mile from main road down a single track lane with few passing places. Follow the owners directions rather than Sat Nav to access property. As a couple plenty of room whilst the lounge is bright and spacious. Property was very clean. Large outside space. Landare cottage is a great place for a relaxing break. Its location being off the beaten track on a working farm adds a special dimension to what you would normally expect. Its proximity to Looe and the coast makes it accessible for getting out and about - but take it carefully on the narrow lane - you might meet an oncoming tractor! It was unbelievable to arrive and find no toilet paper ..no hand wash and no hand towels in any of the WCs. With respect to the owners a pint of milk and a cake doesnt represent a welcoming pack. Something else missing was a contact list for local hospital ..doctor and dentist with phone numbers and directions..these are all basic things and are uRead moresually addressed. ..no information about places of interest. Comfort and location do, to some extent, compensate for all the other shortcomings. Hide

Had a lovely week in cottage. Fabulous location. We enjoyed watching the animals (cows and sheep). Good wi-fi signal. Would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

The cottage was beautiful, and spotlessly cleaned. Really enjoyed my stay and the kids loved it also. We also had the added bonus of a cake upon our arrival. The owners were very nice and very helpful. I can honestly say that I would highly recommend as a place to stay.

Lovely cottage and huge lawn - great for kids to play out on. So nice to be on a farm and see the animals in the fields. The cats were very friendly and came round often. Valerie was very helpful and came round when we needed something. Thank you!
