The property is set in beautiful grounds, with lovely views (especially at sunset). It is well-equipped and comfortable and we really didn't mind spending time on a wet afternoon just relaxing in the quiet and comfortable environment. You do need to drive to any walks or attractions - it's about 7 miles from Glencoe and 20 from Fort William, Ben NeRead morevis etc., but the roads are so beautiful that this was not a problem. Easy to reach Mull and Iona as well, although that needs a full day out. Hide

Actually several apartments in an extended house. The one we stayed in was comfortable and quite well equipped. Theres a pleasant view out the back over a field with a stream running through it, a line of trees, and some mountains in the background on the other side of the loch. Had a couple of stags in the garden one night and another night it wasRead more clear and dark enough to see the Milky Way. Oban, Fort William, and Glencoe are nearby. The Old Inn on the way to Oban makes a really good local. Hide
