Property code: G0088

Set within a truly enviable location within the former smuggling gateway village, you will benefit from a number of charming eateries, traditional British pubs and independent shops in addition to a wonderful sandy beach within walking distance. As one of Yorkshire's most popular coastal villages, you could easily spend your days here as you enjoy a truly relaxing retreat. However, if you wish to explore further afield, make your way along the coast to the historically rich town of Whitby just 5.5 miles away and pay a visit to its stunning ruined Abbey or the St Mary's Church; storied with a literary history.

Step through the stable door to uncover an elegant and stylish cottage offering a homely vibe throughout. The ground floor is home to an open-plan living room made up of the lounge, kitchen and dining area. After a bracing walk along the coast, take refuge in the cosy lounge as you fire up the traditional wood burner and cosy up on the comfortable sofa in front of the TV. If you manage to resist the temptation of the wonderful eateries around and fancy a spot of home cooking, the contemporary kitchen complete with breakfast bar offers everything you'll need to prepare a hearty meal. Make your way up the winding staircase to discover the sophisticated bedroom complete with a sumptuous king-size bed and luxurious soft furnishings. The bathroom next door is a real oasis with its bath and monsoon rain shower overhead; perfect for a long candle-lit soak.

The exterior is as equally attractive, make the most of your private terrace set in an elevated position above the cottage; a wonderful setting for a spot of al fresco lunch during the warmer months. What's more, you can fire up the chimenea offering plenty of heat so you can enjoy the space long into the evening. An outside space is something of a rarity in the area, so take advantage of sitting outside of a morning as you take in the fresh sea air.

The cottage was dirty with feces on the toilet roll holder, pubic hair on and around the toilet, dirty bath, hairs everywhere and sticky floor. The kitchen has food splashes over many of the cupboards, dirty sink, and worktop. Pots and pans were greasy and not cleaned. Dirty stained carpet, not vacuumed. The property is tucked away in a little back street which is quite difficult to find, it is definitely not suitable for anyone with mobility issues, steep steps to the property and a spiral staircase inside. Great welcome pack, lovely places to eat and drink. Would definitely recommend getting a parking permit from Fisherhead. Hide

Lovely position, house a bit tired and could have been a bit cleaner we had problems with drainage in the bathroom. If you like a decent size bath towel, take your own. They were rather small. Despite this we enjoyed our stay and loved the little garden which is a sun trap at the end of the day.

Little Pearl, located in the heart of Robin Hoods Bay, has the charm of an old and traditional cottage. It was small but comfortable and the welcome pack was appreciated. Plenty of hot water for baths or showers after a day out. Robin Hoods Bay was absolutely beautiful and we loved our week here.

This was our 2nd stay this year and we will no doubt be back. The situation is perfect right near harbour with lovely eateries on our doorstep and some lovely shops. Can thoroughly recommend fish and chips from Maid Marions just below cottage. Discovered the short cut to Fisherhead car park, easier than going via road. We would have struggled if weRead mored parked at higher parks. Cottage really cosy and very tastefully furnished. Highlight- walk alone coastal path to Whitby then bus back. Hide
