Traditional fisherman’s cottage in the heart of the attractive harbour-side village of Appledore, just a few minutes from shops, restaurants, and the shoreline.

This property is located right in the centre of the pretty village of Appledore, which is known for its narrow winding streets and colourful cottages. There are a number of shops, bars, and cafes, as well as an interesting maritime museum. The village is located on the mouth of the River Torridge and visitors may like to take the enjoyable boat trip across the estuary to the village of Instow. Just one mile away is the large beach at Westward Ho!, the perfect place to spend a day.

Entering this cottage from the narrow street, guests will come straight to the lounge with its seaside-themed decoration, stone fireplace with wood burner, comfortable seating, TV and DVD. The dining room has an attractive wooden feature fireplace, a pine dresser, and dining table seating four. The fridge/freezer is also here, housed in the cupboard. An archway leads from here to the kitchen which is equipped with an oven, ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher, and washing machine. Steep cottage-style steps lead to the first floor, where there are two bedrooms. The main bedroom is a spacious double, with an en-suite bathroom, whilst the other is a bunk bedroom suitable for children. The property’s bathroom has a bath and WC.

Outside, there is an enclosed patio area immediately to the rear of the property. Up a 40-metre-long sloping drangway is the garden, with views across the neighbouring gardens, BBQ, and garden furniture. There is roadside parking a short walk from the property, or alternatively guests may prefer to use the nearby public car park. Guests may bring up to two dogs by arrangement and at an extra fee.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.
