This beautiful, single-storey lodge is tucked away in a quiet and peaceful location, surrounded by stunning countryside and rolling hills, yet less than 0.5 miles from a delightful country pub serving home-cooked food. A picturesque 0.5-mile walk leads into the centre of Pateley Bridge, voted Great Britain's Best Village High Street in 2016. Here, you can explore the many quaint shops and eateries, including the oldest sweet shop in England, or enjoy a peaceful stroll along the River Nidd. Nestled in Nidderdale AONB and next to the Yorkshire Dales National Park, the location is an absolute paradise for walkers and cyclists alike. Visit the outstanding formations at Brimham Rocks or spend the day at the ruined monastery of Fountains Abbey, both within 10 miles of the property.

Step inside to discover a stunning contemporary holiday home that is sure to make lasting memories. At the heart of the property is a bright and spacious lounge/kitchen/diner, with floor-to-ceiling windows at one side of the room to make the most of the beautiful countryside views. Settle down on the comfortable sofa, complete with a cosy throw, perfect for curling up together whilst watching a film on the Smart TV. The kitchen, an elegant and well-thought-out space with glossy worktops and contemporary units, is well equipped with everything you will need to rustle up a romantic dinner for two. An electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine are included. The dining area sits in front of the large windows so you can enjoy a meal at any time of day and take in your spectacular surroundings. Along the corridor, you will find a king-size bedroom that is sure to allow for an excellent night's sleep and next to it a shower room with a shower cubicle and WC.

Great lodge! A very well equipped and comfortable property. Properly secured grass garden for our dog. Great quiet location but still easy to get to places. Very helpful owners. Would highly recommend!

the property could do with a fan. it gets very hot in there. tv in bedroom doesnt work. one of the oven shelves doesnt fit properly and kept falling out of slot. could be dangerous. BUT, overall a loveley property in a great location

The cottage was super. The garden was a particular highlight, and the attention to detail in putting out food for the birds on the bird table was a lovely touch. Having multiple places to sit outside, with an umbrella was especially handy when the weather was hot as it was during the week. Lovely lodge in an idyllic location, ideal base for walks around the surrounding area, great pub in tripping distance of the front door, people are welcoming & friendly, and dogs are more than welcome. The garden is secure, well tended, and a sun trap to catch a few rays. The owners Mick & Julie were very knowledgeable of the surrounding areas and Read morenothing seemed to much trouble for them. Fabulous accommodation spectacular views and lovely wildlife. Very comfortable in a great location. Village centre not far away good range of shops and a fabulous butchers selling amazing pies. Owner very helpful when we had any problems. Would highly recommend.

Lovely cottage with marvellous views both out front and back. Exceptionally clean and tidy and well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. A well equipped and nice cottage with a garden compatible even with smaller dogs. Only the location is not that shown in the website. Otherwise really comfortable.

Excellent location- quiet and peaceful with great views. The back garden is a sun trap which looks over the fields. It was great to make use of the reclining chairs to enjoy the view.

Quiet peaceful location with glorious views. Very comfy spacious living room. Well lit, compact shower room and bedroom. Some lovely Nidderdale walks (down steep drive!). Good variety shops in nearby Pateley Bridge.

Lovely property and just what wanted, nice balance of feeling homely without feeling like in someone else's home. We had a wonderful, peaceful stay over the Christmas period. The lodge was lovely, spotlessly clean with comfy sofa and bed. Gorgeous views over the fields and very secure garden which our dog loved. Great location within 20 minute walk of Pateley Bridge. Excellent accommodation, well appointed and very clean. Great safe garden for the dog. Got great takeaway food from the nearby Bridge Inn.

We chose this place due to the good sized enclosed garden for our dog. The view from the garden is amazing. Inside is very comfortable. The lodge is in a great location to experience North Yorkshire. The garden is a lovely space but dependent on dog type not totally enclosed, we were nervous that our cocker spaniel could easily penetrate the barrier on one side of the garden.
