Idyllic cottage in peaceful rural location but still within easy reach of major attractions and towns - this quaint property is ideal for those wanting a cosy romantic getaway in Cornwall

The perfect position of this property makes it ideal for exploring as much of the beautiful county as possible on either the North or South Coast, during your break away. Relish in the peaceful surroundings, with fantastic walks around the countryside direct from the cottage door, or get in the car and drive to one of the many nearby attractions and beaches. Sheltered coves and fishing villages such as Mevagissey and Pentewan are just a short distance away, with St Austell just along the coast packed with an array of amenities. Head to the Eden Project or the Lost Gardens of Heligan for a full day out nearby, or go further afield to explore places such as Land's End and the Tate Gallery in St Ives. Truro is only a 10 minute drive and offers an abundance of shops and restaurants, or why not take a day trip to the popular harbour town of Fowey.

This beautiful cottage is the perfect cosy hideaway, having a true homely feel while you're on your holiday. The lounge offers a relaxing area to put your feet up after a day of exploring, with a TV/DVD so you can still enjoy your favourite film or show even while you're away. Stepping up slightly to the sun room, there is a small dining table for you to enjoy a home cooked meal, and an additional comfy sofa overlooking the patio and grounds outside, which then leads through to the spacious kitchen. Comprising of an electric Aga Module, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave, this space is perfect if you choose to stay in and cook rather than head out to one of the local pubs. The bedroom upstairs is cosy and has a double bed, and the shower room, also located upstairs, is chic and contemporary, with a large walk-in shower and WC.

Set within four acres of grounds there is plenty of outdoor space with the cottage, as well as a pretty patio area with seating for warm evenings or coffee in the fresh air on a morning. There is off-road parking situated within the owner's grounds.

Clean, comfortable, well located and private. Good kitchen and shower room shower facilities. Parking is fine but a two minute walk away which is not always convenient particularly if it is unfortunately raining. We received a very friendly welcome, and were told to access the cottage through the owners garden at any time. But when we used the grassed area between the car parking area and our cottage, we were usually escorted by 2 lovely dogs!! A nice quiet retreat. A home from home.

Very quiet pleasant cottage which was comfortable. Possibly a little remote. Main problem was parking away from cottage and having to cross the bottom of a field . Not clever if raining, or on arrival or departure.
