This property is located in a quiet village on the southern edge of the North Yorkshire Moors, making it an excellent choice for those who love spending time in the outdoors. Not only is the area perfect for keen walkers, but there is also a wealth of attractions in the area which offer plenty to visitors, whatever their interests, including the seaside town of Scarborough, Whitby with its atmospheric ruined abbey, Castle Howard house and gardens, and the family-friendly theme park Flamingo World.

The front door of this property opens into a porch which is a handy place for leaving coats and boots before moving through to the main accommodation. In to the kitchen/diner, guests will find a pleasant room which is equipped with everything they need including an oven, hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, and washer/dryer and a dining table with window seat . Moving through to the lounge which is an attractive room where guests will love relaxing and spending time together. In the winter months light the warming wood burner to bring a cosy glow to the room whilst enjoying a film on the TV/DVD, or perhaps reading a book, or listening to music on the iPod dock.  Upstairs, there are two bedrooms. The first of these is a restful double room which benefits from having its own TV, whilst the second room is a quiet single room. Also on the first floor, there is a shower room with WC.

Outside, there is a lawned garden to the rear of the property which has a patio seating area next to the house, for which there is a table, chairs, and BBQ provided.

What a lovely comfortable cottage in a great location for going out and about to nearby villages and various coastal locations. The rural setting was very relaxing and we enjoyed our week, I would be happy to move in permanently ! An absolutely first class immaculate cottage in a great location. All the decor and furnishings were to a high standard and everything had been thought of. Nice touches of room fragrances, fresh flowers and ornaments. Will return.

A really nice cottage in a lovely country setting. It was very comfortable and the enclosed garden was ideal for our dog. It had everything we could need and was a great base to visit some lovely places in the area.

We enjoyed a very comfortable stay at Myton Cottage. It was warm, well-equipped and tastefully decorated. Situated in the lovely village of Ebberston, it was a perfect base for exploring North Yorkshire.

An extremely comfortable and well-equipped cottage in a quiet village location with easy access to the coast and the moors. The cottage was spotless, and the garden well maintained. We loved watching the cows in the field across the lane and the many dogs exercised along the footpath opposite the cottage. A beautiful, comfortable and well equipped cottage. Lovely location with walks from the door. Locals and neighbours very friendly and enjoyed chatting over the fence! Walk through the village and collect some local produce and pop some pennies in the honesty boxes. We enjoyed trips to Scarborough, Thornton le Dale, Pickering, and Nunnington Hall. WRead morehilst the garden is enclosed, it wasnt quite secure enough for our dog, and we still needed to put him on the lead. Hide

The cottage was lovely and clean and in a wonderful position to explore all parts of the NY moors and the coast. The garden was ideal for catching the evening sunshine and winding down after a day out hiking and exploring the area.

This is one of the loveliest cottages we have stayed in. All the little extras like the welcome bread, milk, butter and eggs, the flowers and the message card really made us feel truly welcome. Ian and Deborah have really thought of every comfort to enjoy our stay. We look forward to returning.

Fabulous cottage in peaceful rural location. One of the best cottages we have ever had. The semidetached stone cottage has been carefully renovated and has a a lovely interior design. The kitchen is well equipped, the bathroom is modern with nice shower and the beds are comfy. The cottage was spotless clean and on arrival there was food and Easter Read morechocolates welcoming us.
