Found just a stone’s throw away from Cornwall’s most westerly village on the mainland, it’s the perfect couple’s retreat.

Situated in the charming town of St Just, you can enjoy a stroll to one of the many pubs or enjoy a game of golf at the nearby Golf and Country Club with pool, sauna and spa. Be sure to visit the mining museums of Geevor and Levant within a short distance. The South West Coast Path takes in some the most dramatic scenery when it runs past Botallack, where you can see the ruins of the tin mins and wheel houses. Land’s End and Cape Cornwall are favourites with visitors and are very close to St Just. The iconic Minack Theatre, with its locally-produced plays, is also worth a visit.
Through a solid oak gate, you will discover the charming cottage, which embraces an open-plan studio style, with tailor-made features and mechanisms made by the owners, who are cabinet-makers by trade, using the very finest specimens of maple. Approached through a lovely country-style garden the lounge/kitchen/diner/bedroom is a very comfortable living space. The lounge area contains comfortable seating, and a TV/DVD to unwind in front of. The kitchen area consists of an electric oven and gas hob, a microwave, a fridge and ice compartment, and a dining area. The owner’s washing machine can be used by arrangement. The sleeping area contains a purpose-made bed, designed and constructed by the owner, which comes as a super-king-size, but can slide apart to create twin beds. The shower room with WC, as well as a wardrobe/storage area, is very close by for convenience.
Stepping outside will bring you to an enclosed garden, with a paved areas and outdoor furniture. Free parking exists 200 yards away in the village car park with space to unload close to the property. Storage space for bicycles and surfboards is available in the garden.

This is an ideal place to be used as a base for exploring West Penwith. It is quiet and homely.
