The beautiful Brendon Hills and spectacular Exmoor National Park are right on the doorstep, offering plenty of wonderful walks, hikes, bike rides and glorious views, making this a great base for keen walkers, cyclists and nature-lovers. You will also be ideally situated for exploring the sights of the stunning Quantock Hills. There’s a host of popular attractions in the area including Somerwest World at Minehead, Cheddar Gorge, Brean Leisure Park, Wookey Hole, the West Somerset Steam Railway, Clarks Village and Wimbleball Reservoir. Heading over to the coast you can explore lovely seaside towns such as Burnham-on-Sea, Minehead, Watchet, and Brean. There are several popular towns and cities worth visiting, including Tiverton, Taunton, Bridgwater and Wells. Situated within the grounds of the owner’s home, this lovely lower-ground floor property is approached via several external stone steps. On entering you will find yourself in the welcoming open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. With traditional wood burner, comfortable seating, TV and DVD, the cosy lounge is an ideal space to relax in at the end of a fantastic day. You will also find a delightful dining area, and the kitchen is fully equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Exploring this delightful and spacious single-level property further, you will find two cosy and comfy bedrooms. There’s a double room and a twin bedroom, both with doors opening out into the garden. You will also find a bathroom complete with a shower over the bath and a WC. The properties have a shared utility room with metered washing machine and tumble dryer. Heading outside, you can relax on the enclosed patio with seating, with a selection of outdoor games and a BBQ available on request. You are also invited to explore the surrounding 6 acres of land which are home to the owners’ chickens and, sometimes, cows and sheep.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

A very cozy cottage that heated up so quickly. Well equipped kitchen with a welcome gift of eggs and milk. The dogs settled very quickly and there was a great space by the door for wet wellies and walking boots. The beaches (Blue Anchor, Dunster, Minehead and Porlock Weir) are only between 20 to 40 minutes away and everywhere allowed the dogs in atRead more lunchtime. Glad we brought with us: lots of dog towels and blankets, scrabble, and games and books to read. Very quiet and relaxing. Hide

Beautiful property in a wonderful setting. Great for the dog with the enclosed garden and surrounding outside areas. We visited Blue Anchor beach, Dunster Beach and town, Watchet and Minehead. All easy to get to from the property. We have booked a return visit in September.

Cottage in a lovely position close to many villages around and 10 min drive to coast. Very comfortable. Nice addition of milk and eggs on arrival. All in all we had nice time.

Beautiful , peaceful cottage, perfect for dogs as private enclosed garden. Cottage v well equiped. A little removed from shops, restuarants etc but ideal resting place if travelling out to various places of interest ie Dunster castle etc. We really enjoyed our stay, hosts were lovely.

A very good barn conversion. Comfortable and well equipped. The owners were friendly but unobtrusive. The dogs with us were able to walk in the gardens and fields as long as they were on the lead. The location is ideal and access to the main roads is easy and from there you can explore the county with ease. We four; two married couples; plus our twRead moreo dogs had an excellent holiday.
