This lovely apartment is located close to the ancient port and modern market town of Bideford where the owners can (by prior arrangement) offer you a lift to catch the MS Oldenburg for a day trip to the glorious Lundy Island. You are also just a ten minute drive from the golden sandy beaches at Westward Ho!, Instow, Croyde and Northam Burrows. Towns such as Barnstaple and the picturesque Ilfracombe are also in the area. Nearby are a wealth of attractions including RHS Rosemoor, the cobbled streets of Clovelly, Dartington Crystal and many more. Further afield are such popular attractions as The Big Sheep and The Milky Way Adventure Park. This ground-floor apartment is adjacent to a private property and small guest house yet privacy is assured.

On entering, you will find yourself in the spacious and attractive open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge is a lovely space for relaxation, with TV/DVD and lovely views. The dining area is ideally situated. Heading over to the kitchen area you will find an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer and microwave. Exploring further you will find one king-size bedroom. There is also a shower room complete with WC.

Heading outside you are welcome to relax at the end of an enjoyable day on the shared decking area with ample seating in the beautiful shared gardens, both a short walk from the property. Here you can unwind and take in the stunning river views. Or you could even get on the water in one of the onsite Mambo sit-on kayaks which are free to use and can be launched directly from the terrace. You can also meet the resident goats, pigs, chickens, ducks and miniature donkey. There is off-road parking available for one car. Please note this is approached via a steep drive; alternative parking areas are also available.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

The cottage was lovely and the hosts very welcoming and friendly. There is a lovely walk for dogs across the river and our Labrador LOVED the river at high tide but was confused when he couldn't go in when the water was low. The cottage is close to many activities and lovely beaches. A welcomed, relaxcing long weekend.

A well appointed apartment. Wonderful views from the breakfast bar over the river and countryside. Comfy bed with good quality bedding. Lovely large fluffy towels too. Good location for exploring the area. Hosts were very friendly and helpful enjoyed meeting all their onsite animals too.

Comfortable apartment with lovely views of the tidal river Torridge. The owners very welcoming. Enjoyable cream tea taken out on the beautiful decking area watching the wildlife.

This is an idea break for a couple. The owners were great hosts and worked hard to make sure that we had everything we needed. With the beautiful locating on the riverside, it meant there were great walks with the dog. We will certainly be looking forward to going back sometime.
