The hosts were superb - recommendations of activities to undertake and locations to visit were spot on. Very accommodating and nothing appeared too much trouble for them. Perfect location for taking in the local area with kayaking, cycling the Tarka trail and nearby Instow beach all on your doorstep. Loved the break, would definitely recommend to aRead morenyone and would be very happy to revisit. Hide

Our only problem was that it was situated on a very fast and busy road. However a 10 minute walk takes you to the Tarka Trail , which gave access to miles of traffic free walking & cycling.

The cottage was lovely and the hosts very welcoming and friendly. There is a lovely walk for dogs across the river and our Labrador LOVED the river at high tide but was confused when he couldn't go in when the water was low. The cottage is close to many activities and lovely beaches. A welcomed, relaxcing long weekend.
