The Polgreen Meadowside converted barn was delightful. Spacious but cosy, and restful in a setting free from street lighting or light pollution. No noise from road traffic. The kitchen was smart and very well-equipped; we didn't need any utensils. A lovely cottage set in woodland next to a farm (which you can not see from the cottage) a pleasant outside area to sit and enjoy food and drink if you are so inclined. Excellent location to see all Cornwall by car. Approx. 1 hour drive to Lands End, Tintagel or Plymouth. Only 10 mins. to Mevagissey. Would highly recommend a stay here.

We had a wonderful holiday at Polgreen Meadowside. The cottage is beautifully equipped with everything needed, spotlessly clean and the owners are very friendly and helpful. The garden is so tranquil with lovely garden furniture and barbecue. Lovely for watching the birds and rabbits. Definitely will book again for next year.

A lovely cottage in a delightful setting. Very peaceful. The cottage was fully equipped and well maintained. Loads of cutlery and crockery for those who would rather use the dishwasher than wash up! We went down to St. Ives, over to Padstow and along the south coast as well. A good central point for exploring.
