There are countryside walks nearby as well as being ideally placed for either touring the whole of Somerset with its many attractions including the Fleet Air Arm Museum at RNAS Yeovilton, Haynes Motor Museum, Hauser & Wirth art gallery, Glastonbury with its Tor, Clarks Village at Street, Roman Bath, the Quantock Hills or the beaches on the Jurassic coast, for a relaxing and tranquil holiday. Farm activities: enjoy the owner's 4 acres of farmland, just a short stroll from the property, where you can meet the chickens, pigs and lambs.

The accommodation offers ONE bedroom: ground floor double with patio doors leading to an enclosed patio with seating, en-suite shower/wetroom and WC. Lounge/diner: stairs lead up to this fabulous area retaining much of its original charm with TV, DVD and a range of books and board games. Sofa bed available on request. Kitchen: well-equipped with cooker, hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer and coffee machine. Amenities: parking space for 1 car. Bed linen, towels, shower robes, electric and underfloor heating included and Wi-fi included. 2 well-behaved dogs by arrangement. Regret no smoking. Regret no travel cot but guests are welcome to bring their own. Additional info: heating surcharge of £30 from October to April (inclusive), payable to owner on arrival. Coal BBQ available. Half a dozen free range eggs on arrival. Heated dog kennels available on request for a donation to the owner's charity. Dog washing area on site. Location: beach 30 miles. Pub within 5 minutes walking distance. Shop 1 mile, bakery 0.5 miles.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Please note there is a refundable £50 security deposit for this property payable closer to the start of your holiday.

We had a fantastic time over the Easter weekend. Lots to do nearby and the owners are so friendly and accommodating. Cant recommend it enough!

Sarah, the owner, is a delightful lady who made sure we had everything we needed to have a good time. We took lots of things for a self catering holiday but found Sarah had already provided them. The cottage is perfect for two (& a dog) and is located in a small peaceful village but not far from the attractions of Somerset. We had such a good time Read morethere. Hide

We had a very warm welcome from the owner and her dogs, the cottage was extremely comfortable, relaxing and well equipped plus the location is ideal for visits to several places of interest that are only a short distance away.

The upside cottage is exceptionally well equipped & comfortable Sarah (the owner) is very welcoming & will offer any advice or information sought Whilst there are few amenities in the village, it is ideally located for a get away from it all break Yeovil is 10-15 mins for shopping Easy to get to the coast of Somerset & Dorset (60mins) plus the TorbRead moreay area (90mins) 1.5ml level walk to Queen Camel Hide
