Fishing is available on the Whiteadder River, with the River Tweed within easy reach, as is an array of splendid golf courses. Explore the seaside village of St Abbs with the dive centre and nature reserve, which was recently featured as a filming location for the blockbuster film, Avengers Endgame. Tour the Berwickshire coastline, visit Eyemouth with a harbour, leisure centre, and sea safari wildlife boat trips, or enjoy surfing at Coldingham Bay. Lovely cosy and comfortable cottage. Well kitted out. Great space if you want to relax and get away from it all. Tricky location in snowy weather which we had. Beautiful location if you want a romantic get away from it all.

We had a lovely short break at Rigfoot cottage. The cottage is spacious, clean, well equipped and modern inside. The enclosed garden is perfect for dogs and will be even better in the nicer weather. There's also a summer house to sit out in. It was cosy and warm inside with a log burner which added to the ambience. We had a great stay at Rigfoot Cottage. The garden was great for the dogs, kitchen had everything we needed, well equipped, clean. It's remote and that's what we wanted. We will definitely book again if we holiday in the area again!

Stayed here for a long weekend in February. The cottage was absolutely beautiful. The tranquil setting was just what we needed and the views were amazing. A truly lovely cosy warm cottage in a great location to explore the Borders coast and inland area. The log burner is such a lovely addition to toast your feet after long walks with a glass of wine or whiskey. The bed was so comfortable, dare I say better than ours at home. Basil the whippet loved the pretty enclosed garden.

A fabulous location with stunning views from every angle. The cottage was lovely and welcoming. Very clean with nice touches everywhere. Super comfortable beds. Wonderful comfy and clean cottage in a very quiet rural location. Beautiful views and a lovely wrap round garden ideal for the dogs. Ideal location for visiting the surrounding area including the beautiful coastal areas all within about 30 min drive. Beautiful cottage, clean, bright and extremely comfortable beds. It's set in a very peaceful and quiet area, with stunning scenery, yet not too far from the many beautiful beaches and castles in both Scotland and Northumberland.

It is very difficult to fault Rigfoot cottage, everything we expected and more. There was wine, roses and cookies waiting which which was nice. Outstanding views the property was clean and well equipped and extremely dog friendly with a well fenced garden. The bed was also very comfortable. I would say trust your sat nav to get you to the cottage aRead mores the directions could be confusing if you miss a turn but the sat nav got us there perfectly. We highly recommend Rigfoot! The cottage is well maintained and in a quiet location. Staying here is a great base for exploring the surrounding area. Coldingham beach is lush and about 30 min drive away. There is also an abundance of castles and grand houses to visit. We loved it :)

The most beautiful wee cottage! Stunning views of the countryside and wonderful wood burning stove. We absolutely loved staying here and made several day trips to villages and locations in the surrounding area.
