Really lovely peaceful location and spectacular views, notwithstanding the windy and often rainy weather! The host very kindly upgraded me to the Shepherds Retreat, a lovely shepherds hut with a spacious ensuite bathroom. The main living space is compact but has everything you need and is lovely. You can walk straight onto the footpath which takes Read moreyou to the Wrekin and there are several other walks straight from the farm. If you are looking for a peaceful break definitely one to consider. Hide

What a peaceful, beautiful place to idle away a few days. Everything you would need had been thought of including logs and firelighters which at many places would be at extra cost. Bed really comfy with nice sheets and covers. Would like to say a big thank you to the hosts.

This is a fabulous location and a great property. "Shepherd's Rest" was one of 9 holiday lets at the farm, all in a beautiful setting and well furnished. We loved our hut, it was a great size and had everything we needed. Our bathroom was just a few steps up the path which didn't bother us at all, still felt private. Lovely and quiet at night with Read morebeautiful views of the countryside during the day. We cooked dinner one night while it rained and it felt very cosy! We'll definitely be returning. Hide
