Great location for exploring, lovely sea views down to Alnmouth and spotlessly clean. Had an enjoyable stay here last week.

A lovely cottage that is well equipped. The garden was a fantastic sun trap and there was everything we needed in the cottage. It's a 30 minute walk down into Alnmouth, the walk back up the hill isn't the best though, especially after a 6 mile walk along the beach and back. Also less than 10 minutes drive to the shops in Alnwick.

Great location to get to and also a base to see the Northumbrian cost. Main bedroom a bit on the small size. Parking can be a challenge if you have a large vehicle e.g. 4x4 or estate. Great access to Alnmouth & Alnwick. No pubs or restaurants within easy walking so a vehicle is a must. Nice patio for breakfast and lunch.

Lovely cottage, really spacious downstairs. Lovely and warm, and light. Great location for Alnmouth and its gorgeous beach, and the view from the living area is lovely. Garden was fine for our dog to have a sniff around and it was safe for her. Love the stable door in the kitchen, would imagine in the summer would be perfect for fresh air, but safeRead more for dogs and young children. Would definitely stay here again. Hide

A lovely cottage which is very well equipped for a holiday. It is quite tight in the lane behind the cottage for parking and manouvering your car and think it could be difficult with a large 4 wheel drive vehicle. Takes a good 30-40 mins to walk into Alnmouth, but an easy walk if you are mobile.

Rose Cottage proved very comfy and cosy, with lovely long-distance views of the sea and the Alnmouth estuary. It's ideally placed to explore the Northumberland coast and handy for local attractions in Alnwick and Alnmouth. A very relaxing spot.

Beautiful clean well equipped and well presented cottage with a home from home feel. Only downside I found was the mattresses were uncomfortable. Within a good walking distance from the beach however, we never walked with our dog to the beach as I felt uncomfortable walking on the winding country road with a narrow path. Once you reached the railwaRead morey station the paths opened up. Due to this I always felt we had to drive into the town. Fab accommodation set within a peaceful location. Hide

We and our 2 Akitas had a wonderful week at Rose Cottage. It is beautifully decorated, well equipped and has lovely views towards the sea. Its also well placed to explore the whole Northumberland coast. We would certainly recommend this property if you have doggies - a perfect base for walkies on the beach!
