Located in the heart of Bakewell, the ground floor apartment is just a few strides from its many shops, cafes, restaurants and the famous 19th century Bakewell Pudding bakery. With the River Wye running through the market town, there are plenty of peaceful walks to enjoy in the area. The Peak District has so much to offer for young and old to enjoy, Chatsworth House and Gardens are known as the jewel in the crown for the area, and don’t forget to stop at the famous Chatsworth Farm Shop for supplies. Haddon Hall is a short drive away and oozes history. The Tissington trail, Monsal trail, and High Peak trail are fantastic terrain for bikes or pushchairs being disused railways.

The spacious ground floor apartment provides sociable open plan kitchen/lounge/dining space all on one level. The kitchen area has been fitted with contemporary units and includes everything you should need throughout your stay including large fridge/freezer and washing machine. The spacious dining and lounge area provides, large comfortable sofas, one being a double sofa bed, a cosy woodburner effect gas fire, TV/DVD and desk with doors leading out into the garden for those lazy summer evenings. The master bedroom with double bed includes fitted wardrobes and also benefits from an en suite bathroom with bath, enclosed shower, sink and WC. The second bedroom, has an additional double bed, each with its own bedside table and lamp. The bathroom provides an enclosed shower, sink and WC.

Outside the property benefits from a large slabbed patio to the front of the property, surrounded by a pretty garden and some seclusion from trees.

Great short stay. Good location in town, not noisy at all as it is hidden down a side street. Very well equipped for 4 people. A great co-op short walk away, it also does the cook range of food to make our meals a little more special. Be warned, we were unable to book any restaurants as they were all fully booked due to COVID restrictions. WonderfuRead morel private courtyard garden that was pleasant to sit in. We only used car once to Lud's Church, as there were so many wonderful walks on the doorstep. Hide

Lovely apartment in a great location, 5 mins walk to centre of Bakewell, car park space was a real bonus. Apartment is cosy and nicely furnished with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Courtyard garden is lovely and gets the sun in the afternoon (even in late September) a great place to relax after a hard days walking.

Fabulous small apartment with an outdoor space. Very close to Bakewell centre, 2 mins. Place is in a quiet corner of a very busy area close to the lane leading to the car parks. No views from the windows, but the convenient location and 2 mins level walk to centre more than compensate. Very well equipped for cooking too!

The apartment is beautifully fitted out with quality fixtures & fittings with good quality equipment in the kitchen, (I like to cook), so managed to make eecent meals. The under floor heating in the family shower room was lovely. If you like comfort you've come to the right place. Returning next year! Many Thanks

This property is very well located in Bakewell, very close to shops and the river. The bedrooms are a good size and overall the cottage is cosy and comfortable.
