This picturesque cottage is perfectly located in a fabulous village. A short walk to the beautiful coastline with miles of walking in either direction. Burton Bradstock was a ideal base for visiting Dorset. It was, as expected small but functional. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Some things need a little attention to perfect.

We enjoyed our stay at Seine Cottage. A great location in a lovely welcoming village. Some great places to visit; the sub tropical gardens & the swannery, both nearby in Abbotsbury. Hive beach, is a must, with stunning views & fantastic food at hive beach cafe. Close to Charmouth and Lyme for some fossil hunting. Both pubs in the village, serve lovRead moreely food, and theres a beautiful church. The only thing I would mention is the uncomfortable mattress in the spare room, otherwise perfect for us. Hide

A great location for walks and beach. Local community very friendly. Village shop and pubs / cafes on beach are greater for sea food - book ahead for some! The cottage is a good base to explore but some will find it dark (its an old thatched cottage so to be expected).

I picked this cottage for the location, which did not disappoint. The village is charming and the surrounding area beautiful. Easy 10 min walk to beach and cliffs. The cottage was not so great, dark and airless with a very dirty kitchen. The shower was very slow to drain. A lovely cottage in a typical country village. Everything supplied for an enjoyable stay. Wifi not very reliable and found nearby places to eat expensive, apart from that would recommend this as a base for visiting Dorset.

The cottage was in a perfect location for everything we wanted to do especially for walking our dog and parking was never a problem. We were equal distance from the two pubs in the village but book well in advance for the Three Horseshoes. The cottage was cosy and quite well equipped.

Dirty bathroom and windows couldnt be opened and closed properly. Dangerous. Didnt get much sleep because the pump that supplies the toilette flush with water starts every few minutes - flush steadily loses water. (And we were told to save water . lol.) Way too expensive.

This is a lovely cottage in a great location but a supposedly unwinding vacation was marred by arriving at an uncleaned cottage; beds unchanged, used towels on the bathroom floor. Parking is not an issue. Nice local pubs for food and drink. The 3 Horseshoes was my favourite. Local Post Office and convenience store nearby too. This is clearly a dog-Read moreloving village with many local walks on the doorstep. The coast is a short walk away too. Hide
