My husband and I enjoyed a very relaxing short break at the hut. Sharon was very welcoming and showed us round the property, we enjoyed meeting the baby runner ducks! Well equipped for its size, very comfy bed. A tranquil setting on the bank of the river Severn. Thank you!

Unique property in a very beautiful valley. If you want complete peace and quiet and R&R then this is the place for you. The very narrow roads up to the property take you into some beautiful scenery. Lots to do in the area including walks from the property.

It was an adorable hideaway. The hut is a cosy and comfortable place with all the equipment needed, private terrace and BBQ included. The host is friendly and welcoming. In case we would come back to Wales we would book this place for sure again.

Beautiful surroundings, very peaceful and relaxing, all you can hear is the sound of the river trickling past. About a 10 minute drive into a small town, which has, cafes, supermarkets, pubs and a few places to eat. What a beautiful little cottage, nestled in a picturesque valley next to the river Severn. The owners are incredibly welcoming, with cake, milk and fresh eggs from their chickens. Their garden is exceptional and has clearly taken nigh on thousands of hours of work. We'd return in a blink!

We had a fabulous weekend at the Shepherds hut, it was one of the most comfortable and cosy places we've ever stayed! We were warmly welcomed and showed around the hut (where the recycling goes, how to use the composting toilet etc). There are plenty of cooking facilities and utensils and the logburner did a splendid job of heating us up after longRead more days on the hills! Everything was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. We would absolutely love to come back again in spring or summer! Hide
