Modern cottage located in rural Argyll, perfectly situated for an evening's relaxation for your small group of two or three after a day of forest walks, fishing or mountain biking.

The rural location of this newly built property offers plenty to see in this spectacular Scottish area. Take the steep path from the rear of the property to a small local loch, originally the site of a 19th-century slate quarry and well worth a visit. Head 3 miles up to the historic Iron Age Dunadd Fort or travel a little bit further afield to the fascinating Nether Largie Standing Stones (7 miles). A unique day out can be had at Bellanoch, 4 miles towards the coast. Here you'll find a bustling marina and a Scottish beaver and wildlife centre to visit. Continue this way up to Crinan (5 miles), where you'll find a small sandy beach.

Sitting adjacent to the owner's holiday home, enter this single-level cottage and immediately come across a spot to hang coats and store muddy boots. The heart of the house is a contemporary yet cosy open-plan living space. Settle into a sofa in the lounge area, with the stylish wood burner flickering away before you. Pop something on the TV or get comfy with a good book. The kitchen can be found up three steps from the open-plan dining area, and is equipped with electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer. The bedroom can be found just off the kitchen and is a spacious twin. A fold-down bed is perfect for a child. The bathroom is a large wet room with waterfall shower and WC.

Access the private patio area via the door in the lounge and sit down at the outdoor dining table to enjoy a bite to eat together. Private parking is available to the front of the property.

A lovely remote cottage but only minutes from Lochgilphead and the Crinan Canal. Lots of great Forestry Commission walks nearby and straight from the cottage door. Lochgilphead is a very friendly town.

The cottage is located up a rough track in a clearing in the woodland, and has the advantage of being away from roads and people (except for the adjoining house). It was exceptionally clean. This is a lovely and well appointed cottage, we found it well equipped and clean. The location is remote and we found that lovely due to the peacefulness. Walks from the cottage for the dogs were really good and loads to do within a half hours drive, beaches and Forrest walks. Ideally situated for lochgilphead and Kilmory Beach is a must.
