On a quiet cobbled street, in the heart of the historic Stockbridge, this 1st floor apartment offers a superb central base for an unforgettable city break. Princes Street is a 15 minute walk and there are excellent day/night bus services.  Stockbridge has a unique 'village' atmosphere with an eclectic mix of antique, curio and speciality shopping. There are some lovely restaurants, contemporary coffee shops, smart wine bars and friendly local pubs, many with evening entertainment all within walking distance. For recreation guests can enjoy peaceful riverside walks along the Water of Leith and Inverleith Park offers plenty of green open space, there is also a leisure centre with a swimming pool within walking distance.  If you like the Arts, The National Gallery of Modern Art is well worth a visit and The Royal Botanic Gardens are a beautiful sanctuary from city bustle and are also just a short walk from the apartment. 

As you walk into this first floor apartment which can be accessed via a flight of steps or elevator access.  You will walk from the hall into the open plan kitchen/lounge with small triangular balcony which is a lovely spot to sit out and have breakfast or enjoy a glass of wine.  There is a TV, DVD and CD player in the lounge, the room is bright and welcoming.  The kitchen is well equipped it has an electric hob and oven, fridge and microwave.  The double bedroom is off the lounge and the bathroom: has a shower over bath and WC.  There is a small utility room with washer/dryer and space for storage.

A great flat for an Edinburgh-centric city break and ideally positioned for Stockbridge and bus links into the centre. Be patient if driving to the flat, and you will get a parking space. Use public transport whilst you are there. Plenty of eateries in the vicinity and a couple of supermarkets if you want to self-cater (the flat has a well appointeRead mored kitchen). Hide

The apartment is well kept and very clean. There was very good communication and interaction with the service which oversees the guests. The size is just right for a couple who would be comfortable. The location in the lovely community of Stockbridge is just right. A lovely section of Edinburgh with easy access to New Town and Old Town either by foRead moreot or public transit. For a city break the apartment was perfectly situated, well within walking distance, for all the tourist sites and Waverley main station. Good value for money. Warm and cosy.

A lovely little apartment with everything you could possibly need, including a washing machine. Very clean, with personal touches that make it feel really homely. In a fantastic location; a stones throw away from a street of shops, and a 15 minute walk from the castle. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Excellent location with everything we needed. Had misunderstood limited parking meant there may/may not be spaces, thought it meant the parking was for limited periods of time. From Tuesday onwards we were able to park behind the property, it would appear that the parking just under the archway is permanently occupied by cars which are never moved.Read more Very good bus service, local shops and eating places in easy walking distance.
