Good position for exploring the south west corner of the Isle of Wight. Bed was warm and comfortable, as were the sofas. Nice to have the woodburner but not so easy to manage it.

A classic old-school cottage in a quaint quiet village. There are loads of original features in the house which really sets it apart from other properties. Great for those who want to get away from it all. The beds were super nice and comfortable! The enclosed garden was really useful to have to allow everyone to run off steam.

Quaint cottage in peaceful surroundings with a lovely back garden. Clean and cosy but could do with modernisation of the bathroom and kitchen. Shrubs at the front of the property obscured a lot of light when we visited recently, but hopefully this will be dealt with by the owner.

A lovely cottage and a nice location, although you do have to take care with the road outside as traffic drives down it at some incredible speeds! Overall a lovely place to stay although please note there is no wifi and if you are tall, then you have to be incredibly careful not to hit your head.

Quirky cottage. Lovely secluded garden. We found it suited our needs. Well equipped for our holiday.

The cottage is in a lovely location in a beautiful village with very friendly people. It was reasonably comfortable although we found the four poster bed uncomfortable. The log burner was a welcome addition on chilly evenings. The back garden was a sun trap and great to sit in late afternoon/early evening.

The cottage was very comfortable and we liked all the "period" features and fittings. The area is very quiet (during the evening and night) and very dark, so helps with sleeping. When we arrived the central heating was off and the cottage was quite cold, but we soon found some electric radiator heaters to warm the cottage up. We didn't light the fiRead morere as the temperature increased significantly. We dried our towels on a clothes horse in front of the electric heaters as no heating in the bathroom. Hide

A well positioned cottage in a lovely village. A really pretty cottage with really appropriate sympathetic furnishings to reflect the age. It is not a modern all singing all dancing property but an authentic traditional cottage with good basic amenities.

The cottage is very quirky but we found the sitting room very dark as the shrubs are growing close to the window. The rear garden is very private and was a lovely place to sit in the sun and watch the birds. One of the single beds was not very comfortable. The stairs are steep and there is only one handrail so care is needed. The parking is over thRead moree road in a farmyard and we found it a bit difficult to unload and load as the cottage is on a slight bend. Otherwise a lovely spot in a nice village Hide

The cottage itself is lovely, and the location was peaceful with the pub a handy 5 minute walk away - a lovely pub! The cottage just needs some TLC inside and outside

Cosy, rustic and packed full of character. Not for those who want modern minimalism, but if you are looking to escape Wifi, and the hustle bustle of busy life, then this is for you. We were slightly concerned when reading reviews that the cottage might be a little dirty, but when we arrived it was absolutely spotless! We will be back.
