This delightful property is set in the North Devon countryside and provides an idyllic country retreat, adjacent to the owners’ home, yet providing privacy. A short stroll to the village pub and shop and within a short drive of the beautiful beaches of Woolacombe and Croyde both renowned for their golden sand, facilities and life guards that ensure safe family swimming during the summer months. Further afield, you have the picturesque villages of Saunton, Croyde and Woolacombe where its common to find some of the best surf this country has to offer. During your stay, a visit to Ilfracombe Harbour is a must, boasting an array of cafes, shops and restaurants along the water’s edge as well as a dog friendly beach.

Enter the property into the entrance hall and the kitchen is on your left, providing a well-equipped and spacious area in which to prepare a meal or quick snack with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine. Walking through the kitchen you are lead through to the dining room with a good size table and music system and then into the lounge with large windows offering superb south facing views over the garden and open countryside. A patio door leads out to a balcony with seating, an ideal spot to relax and watch the natural wildlife whilst enjoying a coffee or glass of wine. The twin bedroom is located just off from the lounge and has an unusual rounded wall with en-suite shower with WC. The double bedroom is located off from the kitchen and also has an en-suite shower room with WC.

Heading outside, to the front of the property, there is a well-kept garden area with seating. The garden area is a fantastic outdoor space to enjoy the warmth of the sun whilst dining al-fresco with a BBQ. There is off-road parking for two cars available.

We were greeted on arrival by the owners of property and given a quick tour, and shown the guide for contact details and places to visit etc. The cottage was very clean and tidy, had everything we needed for a weekend stay. Lovely location in small village, very quiet, just what we needed. Nice travelling distance to towns nearby, woolacombe, ilfraRead morecombe, lynton & Lynmouth and minehead. Supermarket close. Comfy , relaxing accommodation. Friendly owners. Parking at the property is ok for one car. Nice village with well supplied shop. Very friendly people at the village pub. In the travel directions it mentions go past the Foxhunters Pub. This doesnt exist anymore and there is no sign. Across the same road is the Woodpecker Inn.

Great location for visiting North Devon being only a short drive from Ilfracombe, Woolacombe, Barnstable and more. The cottage is clean and comfortable with everything you need. The best thing is the balcony and picture windows with a lovely view across the neighbouring fields and valley. Keep an eye out for the deer. The property has more than required and in a beautiful quiet location. If you want peaceful this is for you. Its very comfortable and has everything you need. The pub is just up the hill and is very welcoming, the food is lovely. There is a community run village shop for the kids dad thing you may require.

A very large and well equipped bungalow which is in a very nice location. It has easy access to the coast with pubs and restaurants not far away. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property for a holiday destination.

Overall the apartment is well equipped throughout. Plenty of space in the kitchen and dining room. The lounge is not huge but big enough for four. Plus the balcony and lovely view. The bedrooms have more than enough room for clothes. So an ideal rural holiday retreat which is not far from the coast.

A lovely property in a great location for visiting the North Devon coast, the view is relaxing and the village is quiet and friendly. The owners are helpful and live on site so advice and help is always available.

A well located apartment with a cracking view. Excellent location for multiple beaches and the northern coast of Devon. Located in a lovely village with a good pub and shop. Owners were very friendly and helpful.

Excellent property clean comfortable, lovely views, peaceful local pub well worth a visit. Small community run shop for basic essentials. Fish and Chip can in square on Mondays 5.00-7.00pm these were good. The owners were very knowledgeable on things to see and do around the area if you've not been before. To get to property from Braunton don't folRead morelow sat nav as this is a very narrow lane. Best to take the next right turn which is slightly easier. Hide

A wonderful retreat surrounded by lovely areas to visit and lots to do. The apartment is really well located and very well equipped. We both enjoyed a lovely relaxing week away.

Everything was perfect there was everything that you could need we had an enjoyable holiday. Owners very friendly and welcoming.
