The cottage we stayed in the Hayloft Edge Green Farm was ideal for our needs. Our son is wheelchair based and the cottage has a lift to access the hayloft which has two bedrooms and in addition to a bathroom has a separate accessible wetroom. We loved staying here. It's such a peaceful location with amazing views. The owners are lovely and welcoming with helpful advice about dog and wheelchair walks and pubs. The flat worked really well for our wheelchair needs, the kitchen sink is lowered so was very easy to use. The wet room is spacious, we took our own fold up chair to use in there aRead mores there is no seat. If you use a wide wheelchair you might need to check if it would fit in the lift. We will definitely be going back. Hide

We had a wonderful time staying at Axe Edge Green Farm and would highly recommend staying there. It was so cosy, warm and inviting. Our hosts were wonderful. We had fresh eggs waiting for us in the fridge from the various birds in the farm yard... not Emu quite yet! There was also a bottle of wine which was a lovely suprise. There are plenty of walRead moreks actually on and just off the property which our two cocker spaniels loved! From the windows we watched pigs wallow and ducks dawdle. Hide

The owners are welcoming, friendly and a pleasure to talk with. The hayloft is furnished and equipped to the highest standards. The area is ideal, either for a base to explore from or as a peaceful retreat to hide away and relax. Our two Border Collies had a delightful time and were welcomed more than ever.

Agnieszka and Ian are 2 of the nicest people you could meet, they were on hand if you should have a problem but were not 'in your face'.
