Warm and cosy first-floor apartment with wonderful sea views where dolphins are a regular sight, and the beach is a stone’s throw away. Perfect base to explore the Northumberland coastline.

Located on one of the best beaches in Northumberland, this welcoming apartment offers you a comfortable base to explore not only the nearby historic town of Berwick, England’s border town on the River Tweed, with beaches, boat trips, restaurants, shopping and golf, but also a huge variety of beaches, castles and fishing villages like Burnmouth, Craster, Eyemouth, St. Abbs, Bamburgh, Seahouses and Beadnell. Head to the Holy Island of Lindisfarne, visible in the distance from the windows for a cultural day out and bring back some of the local mead to try. Take a boat trip to the Farne Islands to see the seals and the puffins from April to late July and enjoy the attractions at nearby Ford and Etal.

From the front door, head upstairs to the open-plan lounge/diner with a large picture window drawing your gaze to the stunning sea view across the promenade towards Holy Island. Unwind with a drink after a day on the beach and relax on the comfortable sofa and two easy chairs to watch Smart TV after dinner. There is an extending dining table for meals together and you can listen to the radio while enjoying breakfast. The bright and airy kitchen is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, a fridge with an ice compartment, microwave and dishwasher. Pass along the hallway to the two bedrooms, the master bedroom has a super-king-size zip-and-link bed (which can be made up as a twin on request) with a fabulous sea view from the large window. The second bedroom has a double bed with storage. The shower room has a step up into the large shower and WC.

Outside, there is a patio table and chairs at the front where you can sit with a drink and enjoy the sea views. Allocated parking for one car is off-road in front of the garage and there is additional free parking available on the street and in the nearby car park. Secure bike storage is available in the garage.

Perfect location and suitable for our family of 4 (2 boys ages 12 & 9) it was our first trip to Northumberland and this was perfect for us to use to explore all around the area. Had everything we needed. Good WiFi and bonus had Netflix for guests to use which meant after a busy day of walking and exploring and day trips we could relax as a family iRead moren the evening and watch a film. Fabulous position watching porpoises and sunrise. Lovely walk into Berwick..The apartment however did not match the location and needs a refresh and a handyman to fix blinds and windows. Needs a thorough clean as windows inside, paintwork and surfaces were dirty and grubby.On arrival toilet was dirty and bedding not changed, rang the number to repoRead morert issues. We changed our , bedding the cleaner came the next day. Crockery chipped and scratched, not acceptable.Not a good start to our holiday. Hide

We had a lovely week here. The location was amazing, and seeing the dolphins from the living room window was one of the highlights of the holiday. The house was really comfortable and had everything you could need. Plenty to do and see nearby, some great walks, an easy drive to shops and restaurants. Would definitely return.

Lovely apartment fantastic views. The bed was amazing so comfy will definitely go back. Had a problem with the shower but it was fixed really quickly good service from the holiday company and owners.

We really love and appreciate what this property has to offer in terms of the location. The property is well kitted perfect for family. I love the kitchen and the big window that overlooking the beach front. We had a great and most enjoyable holiday at Pier Point. A 100 yards from the beech; with uninterrupted views of the North Sea and coastline. It's a most relaxing location. With promenade, beech and coastal path walks on your door step, You couldn't ask for better. The accommodation is very comfortable and met our every needs. The flat was very clean and tidy. The towels provided were like new and the view from the lounge window overlooking the sea is superb. There are some lovely places within half hour drive to visit The big downfall is that there is nowhere near to get a meal or a decent pint of beer. You have to go into Berwick. Buses are every half hour but stop runRead morening early evening and taxis were a two to three hour wait. If you want to drive and not drink you'll be fine, if you want a decent drink, forget it. Lovely outlook flat very clean and comfortable easy access to visitor attractions takeaways supermarkets etc, saw the dolphins daily, handy binoculars very peaceful would recommend it brilliant

The cottage was well appointed, very clean and situated with great views and right next to Spittal beach. Great to walk onto the coastal path southwards, and B1 bus stop across the road for getting into Berwick and beyond. We DID see the dolphins and Seals from the cottage...The authentic Italian pizza take away was a hit in our household.

Absolutely superb. We had a lovely holiday and the location of this apartment is difficult to best. You literally have a large, wonderful beach right on your doorstep. The apartment was beautifully clean.

To have such a view is so soothing , to be honest we spent most of the week just relaxing looking out to sea watching dolphins and they put on a show many a day accommodation was clean and well kept , Had a fantastic week just great highly recommend so peaceful and relaxing Short drive to town many supermarkets in the area overall 10/10

Excellent sea front location. Approx 30 mins walk to Berwick with some good restaurants, plenty of seaside/fishing villages within easy drive and only 45 mins to Edinburgh via train for a city day.

The Pier View was a lovely place to stay. Well appointed with a fantastic sea view. We saw dolphins on several days! A regular bus service in to Berwick was great, as was the walk along the promenade.

If you want accommodation in a quiet location, close to a beach and with off-road parking, this is an ideal place for you. There is a wonderful view of the beach from the window in the lounge. Great place to stay. Very comfortable and wonderful view from the living room. We enjoyed watching the dolphins playing, gannets diving and the tide coming in and going out. So nice to see people enjoying the promenade and walking their dogs and having fun. Thoroughly recommend the cottage.
