This remarkable single storey pod nestles in a beautiful hilltop position boasting spectacular countryside views. Set within a wooded enclosure within the  owners grounds, behind the trees so privacy is assured, this unique retreat which offers a private hot tub and wood burner is the perfect getaway whatever time of year it is. The nearby South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty offers river estuaries, rolling hills and thatched cottages surrounding the lovely old towns of Dartmouth, Kingsbridge, Salcombe, Modbury and Ivybridge. There are many beaches and attractions in the South Hams including Dartmoor National Park, Dartmouth Castle, Start Point Lighthouse, Haldon Forest and The South Devon Railway. For guests interested in country pursuits the owner can arrange for clay pigeon/rough shooting as well as stalking (arrange direct with the owner at an additional charge).

The entrance of this unique stylish pod is the perfect place to leave your walking boots behind you as you step into the beautiful open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. A large woodburner will greet you on arrival and keep you warm on those chillier evenings. The kitchen offers an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge with ice compartment, a truly great space for budding cooks. Step into the fantastic open-plan lounge area which has been finished off beautifully, allowing you to sit back and relax amongst the rich, soft furnishings and watch your favourite programme on the Smart TV. The well-designed bedroom area offers a king-size bed and remarkable views from the comfort of your bed. Next door to the bedroom area is the attractively designed shower room with shower and WC.

Sit out on your very own balcony and enjoy the delightful countryside views from the comforts of the garden furniture or your very own private hot tub. There is a charcoal BBQ, you will no doubt find it difficult to leave this relaxed environment. After a day’s adventures what could be nicer than stargazing from the hot tub. The pod sits within its own fully enclosed grounds ideal for your four legged friend.

The Pod is extremely comfortable and larger than we expected. Host was very welcoming and the hot tub was exactly what was needed as the Decon mizzle came across the Moor. A real find, especially with a dog.

Mr and Mrs Haskell made us feel very welcomed and comfortable. Everything had been thought of, especially in respect of comforts. The pod itself was warm and cozy with no expense spared. What an absolutely wonderful stay. The Pod is the perfect slice of heaven - tucked away with gorgeous views, you have everything you need. Especially loved the log burner (so cosy!) and the hot tub (star gazing in the tub was amazing!!). My husband and I stayed a week here, it was perfect, we just wanted to chill and enjoy just being together, we were in the hot tub every day even twice some days, it was a very rainy week but this didn't spoil it for us, we will be going back

The pod is a great retreat, beautiful views from your bed across the hills. Though on the owners land and 50m meters from their house,it is completely private, screened all around. Parking is plentiful and few meters from the pod. Hot tub was great, clean and hot. The pod is a large one and has got everything. The pod is everything you need if you are looking for a staycation with little interruption. Steve was very helpful and we had a lovely three night stay with our dog George who was so chilled as well. Fantastic little hut to stay in and take your mind off life! Great views across the valley and easy access to local pubs aswell as local super markets via the Devon expressway. We had a perfect week at the pod! It felt very private, with our own little enclosed area for the dog to run loose. The location is perfect, with Dartmoor views to die for, yet easily accessible from the A38. There are so many moorland, woodland, or coastal walks within a short drive. We loved it. The pod was amazing, views were stunning and night sky watching in the tub is a must do. Steve was always on hand. The black to do guide was great. Local pubs served good food. The Avon inn is a good walk, but it is up hill on the way back! We have recommended to friends

This was exactly as described in the advert. It was a quiet relaxing break in a beautiful quiet setting. We did not need for anything and although next to the farm house we were undisturbed and hopefully we did not disturb them. What a week! Couldnt have asked for a better setting and weather for the week and Steve was an amazing host. We took our dog with us and he absolutely loved it and great base to explore the nearby sites. Cannot rate highly enough and would come back in a heartbeat.

Absolutely loved our stay here the owners had thought of absolutely everything. It was ideal for travelling around Devon and the views were spectacular. He planned on eating out but BBQd nearly every night as we just didnt want to leave - highly recommend the butchers in nearby South Brent
