Thimble cottage is a delightful cottage in a beautiful village. Very quiet and peaceful. We loved our week there. Very convenient location. Very well looked after especially after our long flight from Australia

A couple of reclining chairs would have been nice but the cottage was a joy to come back to after a day out and with a log burner to enhance the ambience. The cottage was faultless as was its position in the village. It would be pernickety to comment further but perhaps tall people should watch the low beams.

Thimble Cottage, as it's name implies, is tiny but perfectly formed. The interior design and attention to detail is extremely good and the cottage well equipped. The open fire makes the cottage very cosy. Although there is no parking you can drive to the back entrance to load and unload luggage. We then parked on the main road opposite the Manor HoRead moretel which made out walks by the water to and fro delightful. Dogs are made very welcome and Thimble is a perfect venue for exploring The Cotswolds. Hide

This is such a beautiful little cottage with everything a couple might need for a romantic getaway. We have loved the welcome chocolates, ready to lit log fire, underfloor heating, beautifully chosen furniture and most comfortable bed with traditional bath and lots of candles. It was a perfect stay for Valentines week and we would go back in SpringRead more and Summer to try some field walks around Lower Sloughter. We would highly recommend this lovely cottage and Lower Sloughter to anyone. Hide
