This holiday property offers all you will ever need for a dream escape to the coast and is on the doorstep of the equally breathtaking Durlston Country Park and a Victorian castle.

The apartment sits in a tranquil location on a steep hill overlooking the local town with a fantastic outdoor space and many amenities. With a glorious beach and an array of shops, restaurants and watering holes just 500 yards away, this is the perfect destination for couples or families.

One of the most unique aspects of this much-loved property is in its layout. The apartment is all on one floor making it ideal for those with mobility issues. Moving from the living space, with large bay windows allowing light to flood the room, to the double master bedroom with en-suite shower.  The main living space combines a cosy seating area, a fully-equipped kitchen and a dining space for real modern-family living. The large bay windows provide a perfect space to enjoy the scenery of the  town and Swanage Bay below. The front of the property is host to a charming decked area with fabulous views of the local town and where the skyline meets the sea in the distance. Tilly was lovely and warm on my arrival, excellent location, I would with out dowt recommend ,the layout was good and the bedroom and ensuite modern ,very clean. As other people have mentioned the two setters have seen better days and not commfey, that is my only negative comment about Tilly Whim, but without a second I would return!!

In a good location with easy access to town centre, beach, coastal path and Durlston Park Tilly Whim was clean, warm, light and reasonably comfortable. The sofas however, need some refurbishment - new firmer seat cushions would improve comfort. A few other small maintenance issues need to be addressed - from reading visitors book, it becomes appareRead morent that these issues can prevail over quite some time. (ie; replacement light bulbs, cooker lights, batteries in tv remotes, drainage in bathrooms, etc) Also Id suggest that some of the pillows need replacing. In our instruction leaflet from Dorset Cottages we were told that the housekeeper would contact us shortly after arrival to check that all was ok - he/she did not. Had they done so, we could have reported some of the above issues. Hide

no proper hoover,garden table and chairs missing,en suite basin tap and waste plug worn out,and no hot water, washing machine bearings worn unable to use because of the noise
