Beautiful cottage, refurbished in 2020, with hot tub and garden. Set in the heart of coastal Aberaeron, perfect to walk to restaurants, shops, beach and explore West Wales’ coast and countryside.

A short walk from the beach in the heart of Aberaeron, a colourful Georgian town, with independent shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs, pretty harbour, River Aeron and a beach to walk to, or maybe launch your canoe. Visit coastal New Quay, famous for beaches, dolphin watching boat trips and water sports or bustling Aberystwyth, with Wales’s only silver mine. Take a steam train ride on the Vale of Rheidol Railway. With events and festivals along Cardigan Bay, attractions to visit such as the National Trust Llanerchaeron and activities from water sports to cycling, boat trips to walking the famous Dylan Thomas Trail. Explore the Wales Coastal Path or devour the local Taste Trail. This is the perfect location to explore the coast, countryside and culture of Ceredigion. The front door opens into the welcoming open-plan kitchen/lounge/diner. If you decide to eat in, this beautiful kitchen is well-equipped to rustle up a meal with all the thoughtful little extras alongside the electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Whilst you are in the kitchen let the sunshine in and open the patio doors on to the garden. The central island is a lovely social space for all to gather round whilst getting creative with your local purchases. The dining table is the perfect setting under the feature glass ceiling to enjoy a meal together whilst you plan your holiday activities. After dining retire to the cosy lounge with comfy sofas, feature fireplace with wood burner and the large Smart TV. There is also a separate WC on the ground floor. After a full day out, head upstairs to the first floor. Both the bedrooms have Smart TVs, choose from the king-size with balcony, sea views and an en-suite bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC. The other bedroom is the gorgeous super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made up as a twin on request) with en-suite shower room with shower and WC. This is a lovely house to holiday in with so much on your doorstep.

Heading outside you will find the enclosed garden with feature planting and lighting. The hot tub takes centre stage to relax and unwind in this coastal themed garden. The dining area has a hand-crafted table and seating which is perfect for alfresco dining, there is also a quirky covered area with further seating. If you are keen on cycling and canoeing and bringing yours with you, there is a cycle rack and space to store your canoe or paddle board. There is roadside parking, nearby, subject to availability.

Had a lovely week in Walney. Cottage was lovely and warm, needed for a cold January stay. Location is perfect and parking right outside the door. Easy walking distance to the shops snd restaurants. Harbour Master and Y Seler worth eating at. Devils Bridge to Elan Valley and Rhyader well worth a drive, truly stunning scenery. The cottage is in an ideal spot to act as a base for touring the coast. Aberaeron itself is very pretty and you have so much on your doorstep with regards food and drink. People watching is a great pastime when there are benches very close to the property which overlook the sea, although there isnt a lot of nautical activity on that stretch of the Read moreIrish Sea! We had a wonderful week in Aberaeron what a lovely town with great location. Walney is a very nice and comfortable house my family and our 2 dogs really enjoyed our stay. The areas we traveled around had stunning scenery and we particularly enjoyed Poppit Sands which is highly recommended.

This delightful property is in a perfect position for accessibility to the harbour, shops, hotels & restaurants without using the car. It's very well equipped, comfortable beds, unlimited hot water and a sunny garden with hot tub.

This was the first cottage that we have stayed in that wasnt a National Trust property and the standard was excellent. The cottage is presented very well it was clean and well equipped. The furnishings and bathrooms are premium quality and the whole cottage is inviting and comfortable. We were concerned about the location but it is quiet and perfecRead moretly situated for both the beach and the town. A parking space is right outside the window. We had a lovely stay at this cottage. It was heated on arrival, & very welcoming. Parking really easy outside. Beds good, kitchen well equipped, nice to have a downstair loo. We loved the big dinning table & the outlook from it, ( bet its even better in the summer) Wine fridge was a nice plus. Plenty of hotel water, so the bath was well used. Absolutely stunning and deceptively spacious cottage! The owners have clearly taken great care in the recent refurbishment! It has a wonderful balance between traditional & modern. The hot tub was AMAZING! Lovely garden area. Location was absolutely perfect, so close to the very thing, we hardly needed the car! We had a wonderful time!

Great property in a great location, so pretty. Loved the hot tub. So many places to visit. Rheidol Valley Steam Railway was amazing. The river walk is beautiful. Dolphin watch boat trips from New Quay. Aberaeron is so lovely, friendly people, good restaurants all within walking distance of the cottage.
