Whinnycook Cottage was absolutely all we expected. It is really quirky, with the bedrooms and bathrooms downstairs and living accommodation upstairs. The rooftop garden was amazing. We have booked to stay next July and are looking forward to having barbecues on the rooftop garden. We felt right at home in the cottage and loved the marvellous HallowRead moreeen decorations in the gardens. Hide

Very nice, well equipped cottage attached to owners residence. Beds only accessible from one side making it difficult to access. Generally clean with nice outside area. Great location for a base to explore the beautiful sights of Northumberland. There were a few maintenance issues in the cottage but nothing that spoilt our lovely holiday there.
