Located in the peaceful and picturesque North Norfolk village of Thornham, this well-presented bungalow provides a small family or couples the perfect holiday home by the sea.

This property is within walking distance of the Norfolk Coast Path, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and a choice of wonderful pubs, restaurants, a deli, and a farm shop. You are also well placed for exploring the local area; within 7 miles is Burnham Market, the beaches of Brancaster, Old Hunstanton, and Hunstanton, which offers a fun-filled family day out with its amusements, fun fair and Sea Life sanctuary. Within 1 mile east is the RSPB reserve at Titchwell Marsh, which features a sandy beach with views across the Wash. This is an ideal area throughout the year for walkers, birdwatchers, cyclists, photographers, artists, golfers and sightseers.

Enter via the front door which leads you into the hallway, where after a day out on the coastal path you can take off your walking boots before heading inside to explore your holiday home. The lounge, to the right, is a perfect place to relax and unwind, with one easy chair and a large sofa surrounding the Smart TV and wood burner. Heading back into the hallway and to the right leads you to the kitchen/diner. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a hearty meal with its electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and a dishwasher. There is a washing machine and freezer in the utility room, off from kitchen. Once dinner is ready, serve up at the dining table, which can seat everyone. There are two bedrooms, each with plenty of storage space for clothes and personal items. The master bedroom is a king-size, while the second bedroom is a double room. Both share the bathroom with rain shower over bath and WC.

Heading outside to the rear of the property via the utility room, you’ll find a splendid garden area which overlooks fields and is a wonderful place to relax, enjoy a drink or two, and enjoy some al fresco dining on the garden furniture while listening to the birds sing and watching the sun go down. There is private off-road parking to the front of the property for two cars.

Great cottage, very cosy with everything you could need for a relaxing stay. Loved the location with beaches and numerous walks nearby. Only downside is we looked to rebook for next year and there is no availability

A lovely compact, comfortable and well equipped bungalow that is ideal for exploring the North Norfolk coast. The fully enclosed garden is an added benefit for dog owners with views that are interesting to nature lovers and relaxing to the eye.

Lovely clean bungalow in a quiet cul de sac. Well equipped. We had a problem with some electrical sockets not working after the washing machine tripped the fuse. Electrician came fairly quickly. Lovely quiet garden with tables and chairs

Great cottage, wonderful quiet location. Everything you could need if staying in to cook. Lovely pubs and deli nearby (walking distance). Ideal spot for exploring the area, so many beautiful towns and villages. The garden is perfect for a pooch, fully secure.

The location of the cottage is lovely with ample parking for 2 cars. The cottage was very clean and the kitchen well equipped. The garden is very secluded and overlooks a field, the downside to this is there is only a 2 seater bench, no table or chairs so we were unable to eat outside, the weather was beautiful it seemed a shame to have to sit in tRead morehe kitchen to eat! Despite my negative comments about the lack of garden furniture we had a lovely time, Brancaster beach fabulous. Hide

The cottage was very clean and homely and the thoughtful welcome packs were well received. Contrary to some comments in the visitors book we detected no indication of dogs having stayed in the property; no odours or dog hairs were evident. This in spite of the fact that the visitors book suggested that the previous guests had a German Shepherd dog Read morewith them. I dont know what they were but the cottage had beautiful flowering shrubs both front and rear making it very picturesque. Hide

Great base for exploring north Norfolk - Windflowers has everything you need and is very comfortable. The number of return visitors in the guestbook speaks volumes! Were already planning our third visit

Windflowers is a homely bungalow in the most beautiful part of Nth Norfolk. The holiday cottage is of a high quality. Within walkable distances are RSPB nature reserve Titchwell, and the Thornham Old Harbour with its breath taking scenery and coastal pathway.

We had a really lovely week. Cottage was clean and really nicely decorated & furnished. A great quiet location with some lovely local walks around the village, to the pub, to the sea. And the crowning glory was the view to the rear, over fields , a great view for wild life spotting. Would definitely recommend.

We had a fabulous week at 'Windflowers'. The property was very well equipped and had everything needed for a comfortable self-catering holiday. Thank you for welcome pack and treats, much appreciated. Lovely comfy bed, powerful shower, good quality kitchen appliances etc. We enjoyed many walks around the local area, birdwatching and the dog had a gRead moreood run on the beaches and was made welcome in Lifeboat Inn and Thornham Deli, where we enjoyed some fantastic meals! Lovely cottage, very nice treats on arrival. Perfectly positioned for days out in Hunstanton and along the coast. Nice and clean, comfy beds and a safe enclosed garden for the dog. Very well equipped kitchen, just needs a dishwasher to make it perfect. Would definitely come again.

Nice comfortable and well appointed bungalow in a quiet cul de sac. Good location for exploring the area - we didnt have time to see everything and the weather was great. Nice pubs and restaurants in the village, not cheap, and a lovely deli, again not cheap but lovely. Dove Orchard just outside the village has a few shops including a farm shop, buRead moretcher and fishmonger, and a pizza eat in or takeaway and a fish and chip shop, also sit in or take away. Hide

The Windflowers was comfortable, clean & had all the basics you need & our dog loved the garden. It's a good base to travel from, you have Titchwell reserve nearby, you also have Hunstanton, Brancaster & Wells-next-the-Sea all within easy reach and are all dog friendly. I would definitely use Windflowers again.

Lovely location and clean. Fantastic garden with rural views Decor a little tired in places. some basic equipment lacking (cafetire, tea towels, knives). I would still book again as imagine comments will be addressed. We had a great week.

Lovely setting - had a lovely holiday mainly walking in the area and watching birds and enjoying the food available in the village. The beds were very comfortable but I would say the tv is a bit small for the size of the lounge and we could have done with firmer chairs to sit on in the lounge, but Netflix was a bonus. Comfortable cottage, and we have visited many during the last 20 years. Slightly uncomfortable that several personal items were in the property. A jewellery box with jewellery inside. A nice magnifying glass and letter opener. I struggled to do my hair, another accessible mirror would have been useful.

We had a very comfortable stay at Windflowers which has lovely walks from the front door around the village to the coastal path. There is a pretty garden which backs onto a field, so wonderful views from the kitchen! The kitchen is very well equipped and has everything you could need, including an impressive utility area. Lovely bungalow and just love view at back. Beds were really comfortable and good parking. TV could be larger bearing in mind size of room but nonetheless we were very happy staying here. Would come again.
