The property is just 2 miles from Ellesmere, famous for its lake, with the market towns of Oswestry, Whitchurch and Wrexham nearby. This is an all-year-round destination for friends and family to have a relaxing or active holiday. Enjoy a game of tennis at the local courts, or ride and stride by the lakes, along the canal paths, Offa’s Dyke, Shropshire Way, and many more miles of rolling countryside in Shropshire and on its borders. Enjoy boating on Ellesmere Lake or fishing in the Severn, explore the caves at Hawkstone Park Follies, visit the British Ironworks or independent galleries, National Trust’s Erddig and Chirk Castles, Pontcysyllte Aqueduct or Bangor on Dee Racecourse. There is so much to see and do, with stunning views, independent shopping and fabulous culinary delights along the way.

Walk through the original chapel door and into this beautiful property with original features, underfloor heating and contemporary twists throughout. Hang up your coats, kick off your shoes and enjoy the double-height entrance. Take a moment to sit by the open flame-effect gas fire, try the piano, watch your favourite programme on the Smart TV or enjoy afternoon tea at the dining table. Walk down the step to the stylish kitchen, which is creatively designed and well-equipped with an electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Enjoy breakfast at the table in the kitchen looking out to the courtyard garden whilst you plan your holiday activities or take your meal up to the dining table. After a full day out, relax on the fabulous mezzanine accessed by the bespoke spiral staircase - up here you will find the pool table, sumptuous sofas and Smart TV. Watch a film, test your skill with a cue or retreat to the window and admire the view. There is limited access on the one side of the pool table, so smaller cues are provided alongside the full-size cues. When you are ready for bed head back downstairs and choose between two beautiful bedrooms, the super-king-size with Smart TV, and a spacious en-suite wet room with shower and WC, or the lovely secondary super-king-size (which can be made into twin on request) with Smart TV. Lastly, on the ground floor is the attractive bathroom with shower over bath and WC, perfect to enjoy a leisurely soak.

The chapel benefits from a paved frontage for car parking, the enclosed side garden has bicycle racks to use, and to the right is a lovely courtyard garden leading from the kitchen with a table, chairs and BBQ for al fresco dining. The garden is fully enclosed with parking for one car.

The Chapel came very well equipped and was easy to get settled in and live with during our holiday week.
