A superb peaceful location in the heart of beautiful North Devon this Grade II listed barn, adjacent to the owners' farmhouse, is situated on a 27 acre small holding with ducks, chickens and fishing.

The farm was once a 100 acre dairy farm, now reduced to 27 acres guests are welcome to walk around the farm and land. The village of Woolsery is the closest for amenities and offers a convenience store, Post Office and a pub which serves food. Hartland Point with its lighthouse, abbey, quay and pub all just 15 minutes away, the beautiful unspoilt picturesque villages of Clovelly and Bucks Mill are both within 10 minutes, or Appledore, Westward Ho! and Saunton Sands are all easily reached on the A39. The Holsworthy brewery, for sampling home-made beers, ciders & wines and is 15 minutes’ drive.

The barn, adjacent to the owners’ farmhouse, is situated in a superb peaceful location in the heart of beautiful North Devon. On entering the property, you will notice the character features including the exposed stonework and beams. The lounge / kitchen / diner is arranged across an open plan space with a cosy woodburner as a focal point at the end of the room. The kitchen area consists of electric cooker and hob, integrated fridge with freezer section, dishwasher and microwave. There is one double bedroom with king size bed, with TV/DVD and DAB / iPod dock. Accessed through the bedroom is the en-suite wet room with bath, shower and WC. The wet room is equipped with a portable folding chair, bath mat & grab rail.

Directly outside of the property is a patio area with garden furniture and BBQ, and an additional seating area across the farm track. Exploring the 27 acres of land further there is an orchard, the farms polytunnel and vegetable garden is currently being re-established so that guests will be able to pick their own seasonal salads and vegetables to accompany your BBQ or home cooked dinners. Guests are also welcome to try a spot of fishing at either of the two rivers that run along the edge of the farms boundary. Ample parking on site.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Very nice cottage with good facilities and friendly owners. location was not where we thought it was but turned out fine, just a bit more driving. The local village has a very good shop and pub/ restaurant.

A lovely cosy cottage, perfect for a quiet, relaxing break! We loved making use of the wood burner! The cottage was well equipped, and perfect for us and our springer spaniel Molly. Carol gave us some great pub recommendations, and had kindly left us a yummy cream tea on arrival. We enjoyed our stay at Dipple Dairy Cottage.

The cottage is beautiful and very cosy. Everything we could have wanted or needed. I took all but the kitchen sink and didnt need most of it. Owners are very accommodating and friendly without being in your face. Steve was a mine of useful information. Carols homemade scones , clotted cream and jam were delicious and a lovely touch. Lovely little cottage tucked out of the way. If you want peace and quiet thats the place for you. Two really good places to eat within 10 minutes drive if you dont want to cook which we didnt.
