Absolutely superb holiday lodge, very clean and spacious living accommodation. Perfect secluded countryside escape for couples, ideal for relaxing, unwinding and recharging those batteries. Enjoyed the abundance of wildlife around the lake including the many appearances from the bird from which the venue takes it's name the Kingfisher. Lakeside is a beautiful lodge, in a fantastic setting. We spent a lot of time on the deck watching the water birds and the fish. It has a comfortable sitting room with great view of the lake. Dining area has a circular table and stools. Well designed but hard on old backs. The kitchen is compact and well equipped. The main bedroom, very well designRead moreed but a bit of a sueeze around the comfortable bed. Hanging space is in the twin bedroom which is compact. The shower in the bathroom has a step up. Hide
