One of three beautiful barn conversions surrounded in over 100 acres of farmland, this charming property is just a mile from Portreath and the stunning beaches of North Cornwall.

Located just a mile from Portreath, guests are never far from an excellent portion of fish and chips with sea views. Travel a little further and you’ll reach many beaches and coves where excellent walks can be enjoyed namely the South West Coast Path. Venture to St Agnes to see the remnants of the tin mining industry. For those looking to soak up the local culture, head to The Tate Gallery at St Ives or The Eden Project, while Flambards Theme Park makes a fun day out for the whole family.
Spread across one floor, this tasteful and spacious accommodation is accessible for all. In the kitchen area, you will find everything you should need throughout a great self-catering holiday stay, including an oven with hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. Once you have finished preparing your meals, head to the lounge/diner, which features a vaulted ceiling with exposed beams. Here you will also find a comfortable sofa and TV/DVD ideal for those cosy nights in after a long day’s touring the county, as well as the dining area perfect for two. The double bedroom is light and airy, while in the bathroom next door there is also a shower over bath with WC.
Outside, there is an enclosed garden area with outdoor seating and a BBQ, perfect for summer evenings. Guests are also invited to explore the farm and say hello to the resident cows and sheep throughout their stay.  There’s also ample off-road parking.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Excellent place for peaceful holiday. We enjoyed the terrace and our dog the garden enclosed. Very close to all attractions in South West of Cornwall.

Very comfortable and well equipped. The property is a bit like a Tardis in that it seems to be considerably bigger when you are inside than it looks from the outside!! Easy to find!!

Little Merrose was the perfect holiday destination for my husband and I, providing us with everything we needed for our stay. The owners left really lovely touches for us on arrival - fresh eggs, tea, coffee, biscuits and a beautiful vase of daffodils. We chose this cottage due to its close proximity to the South West Coast Path, where we wanted to to walk a further stretch. It was excellent for this purpose as the path is accessible over local fields and Tehidy Woods without having to use local roads. It was an excellent base for walking but we were also able to fly to the Isles of Scilly for a Read morefurther days walking on the main island using Newquay Airport. Lovely little cottage, peaceful and quiet, owners left fresh eggs, tea, milk and biscuits for us when we arrived . Location great for us to explore Cornwall . Lovely garden to look at night sky, amazing for observing stars.
