A charming annexe that has been lovingly furnished with a romantic, antique style. Perfect for couples looking for a cosy retreat in the countryside and with lots to discover on their doorstep.

The central location of this property makes it perfect for visiting both coastlines including pretty Watchet and Blue Anchor Bay to the North and to the popular seaside towns of Seaton, Lyme Regis and Sidmouth to the South. Taunton is within a few miles and offers an extensive shopping mix, restaurants and leisure facilities, the historic towns of Glastonbury and Wells are both within a 30 minute drive and the stunning cathedral city of Exeter is under an hour away by car. Other attractions within easy reach include Exmoor National Park, Clarks Village, The Quantock Hills, West Somerset Steam Railway and a selection of National Trust properties and gardens.

Enter this delightfully furnished property to find a charming lounge/diner with a TV/DVD with iPod dock, stereo and even an antique record player. There are a few vinyl records provided but feel free to bring your own too. A woodburner effect electric fire keeps you warm on cooler evenings and a beautiful view stretches out across the owners’ garden and towards the fields beyond. In the kitchen you will find an electric double oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The pretty double bedroom is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable night sleep and there is a bathroom with a roll-top bath with electric shower over it and WC.

Outside of the property guests can benefit from a lovely enclosed cottage garden, accessed via three steps. Here you will find a pretty summer house with seating and a patio area with garden furniture. The owner lives next door but privacy is assured and there is separate access to the public footpath that leads into the village of North Curry. There is private, off-road parking for two cars.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

The entrance to the property is a bit tight for the larger car. The landlord and the property is of a very high standard and you will have a job to find anything better and we rate it 10 out of 10. If you want a quiet place for a holiday we highly recommend this property it's just the place to be We highly recommend this property.

A very interesting property that has been furnished in an antique still. Well equiped kitchen which means there is no need to bring items like bottle opener, sharp knife etc. Everything was there.

We were made so welcome, fresh eggs from the owners chickens, butter, milk , fruit juice, tea coffee, even a welcome glass of wine, felt very settled like home from home. Our little westie dog Lola loved the garden which was so safe for her. Peter the owner even brought in walnuts from his tree for us to enjoy.

A charming and unusual cottage with a lovely dog-friendly garden and welcoming owners. Lots of goodies like little bottles of wine, homegrown tomatoes, milk etc made us feel right at home and we will certainly be happy to come back. Thoroughly recommend the community coffee shop in the village.

The cottage was easy to find. It was quiet, clean, well equipped and comfortable. The owners were very friendly and gave us some good advice about the area and local facilities. They also gave us some of their free-range eggs and some apples. Altogether we had a great holiday in a great location.

It was brilliant! The cottage was spotlessly clean and very well stocked. The hosts were very friendly and attentive. The cottage and garden were secure for the dogs with plenty of space for them to play. We would definitely stay here again.

A lovely peaceful cottage with secluded garden. It makes a lovely change to find somewhere that is properly dog friendly - the dog basket and blankets in the lounge were welcome and Polly made good use of them. The cottage is right on a footpath into the village, where theres a pub and convenience store / post office. Westfield Cottage was absolutely Fab !! A beautiful cottage in a beautiful location with everything we could need. Totally doggy friendly......our two were very sad to leave the lovely garden.
