This contemporary detached property is stylishly fitted and furnished and boasts a wood burner, hot tub and enclosed garden. It is ideally placed to explore the whole of Somerset

Situated in the centre of the Somerset Levels providing easy access to a vast choice of walks, cycle routes, riding stables, fishing and birdwatching sites to choose from. Weston-Super-Mare and Burnham-on-Sea are within a short drive with their golden sandy beaches, seaside shops, family entertainments and restaurants. You will also be within easy driving distance of Wells, with its famous cathedral and shopping area and Cheddar, with its famous Gorge, independent shops and cafes. The first two weeks in November is carnival season with the renowned Bridgwater, Burnham-on-Sea and Weston-Super-Mare Carnivals, they really are a must. Enjoy visiting the wealth of attractions this popular county has to offer where there is something to suit all ages and tastes.

Upon entering the beautiful accommodation, you are greeted with a light and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with large windows looking out to the garden. You can enjoy the views in the summer, or in the cooler months snuggle up in front of the wood burner on the comfy sofas and watch the seasons change while watching your favourite programme on the Smart TV. The well-equipped kitchen area has an electric oven and induction hob, fridge, microwave and dishwasher, perfect for trying out new recipes or old family favourites. The two bedrooms lead off from the hall, the first bedroom is a king-size with en-suite shower and WC and the second is a twin. There is also a contemporary bathroom with shower over bath and WC which again leads off from the hall.

Venturing outside through the rear door there is an enclosed courtyard garden with a patio, hot tub and seating including stargazing seats, it makes a perfect spot to enjoy a BBQ or a place to relax and enjoy a glass of wine. The private hot tub is the perfect place to unwind in, complete with pagoda so you can relax in all weathers if you wish. There is also a useful secure shed which houses the washing machine and is perfect for storing bikes or muddy boots after a walk in the countryside. There is ample off-road parking at the front of the property.

We spent a week at the cottage, it is a beautiful cottage which has been built with care and to a high standard. The garden is lovely and the hot tub was a godsend as the weather was not kind but it didnt matter as the children were happy in the tub every day. We have just returned from an amazing week at Swallows Watch Barn. The barn is beautifully decorated and has everything you need. It is quiet and in easy reach of lots of local areas of interest. We went out every day and our 9 year old loved every minute. Must visits are Cheddar Gorge and the local Richs cider farm. The parking is brilliant for 2 cars should you need it and it is so peaceful here. The owners live on site and are keen to make your stay as best as possible. We felt really looked after. A great base to explore with a great hot tub.

We had a wonderful stay in the cottage. I could not recommend it enough. Great location, lots to see and do. The pictures do not do the cottage justice. Lovely welcome gifts. Robes and towels provided for the hot tub. Owners leave you to it but are on hand if you need them. We hope to return soon
