There’s plenty to do along these beaches including fossil hunting, crabbing, swimming, fishing and boat trips. Heading over to the kitchen, it is fully equipped with everything you may need including an oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and dryer. Heading back up to the entrance hall, a door leads from here into a comfortable bedroom with a double bed and a single bed. A further half-flight of stairs lead you up to a spacious double bedroom which offers beautiful views over the nearby hills. Also on this floor is a a bathroom complete with a shower over the bath and a WC.

Stepping outside you can unwind in the unenclosed patio area where you will find a BBQ, chimenea and outdoor furniture. This leads onto a large lawn which is shared with the other properties on-site and is bordered by a tiny brook. Super location for walking and access to the Dorset coast. Lovely walk down to seatown and enjoyed eating both in Chideock and Illingford. A short drive to Lyme Regis. We found the cottage well equipped and very comfortable. Super peaceful at night and a beautiful setting. We did feel that the cottage could do with a little attention in places and Read morefound the door to the patio incredibly tricky to open, which was frustrating at times. Hide

Great location, just of the main A35, but far enough away to feel we are In the country. We have stayed In many holiday cottages, but none have been as well equipped as this cottage.
